  1. I've thought about it and decided I can mod now. I don't need to have the capability to create massive scale quest or intricate homes or unique programming heavy game changers. I can just make normal mods, cuz the thing is I think I'm alright at making nice looking characters and I also know enough not to screw it up and am tentative to fix things so people can use them without worrying that they won't work. More importantly I also think being stagnant is keeping me from improving to become a good enough to be a modder who can make those things that make people go wow that's amazing. So there I'm gonna start modding tomorrow. Not sure when I'll post my first mod so watch out cuz it won't be long till I start posting regulary. I also think I'm gonna start extending things so it's feels like a legitament programming setup instead of just a hobbyist posting once and being done ie: youtube, other site places like deviant and pixiv, looking out sites like discord or patreon "only for donations of course". I'm new to all this and damn I never even use discord let alone host it so please bare with me if

  2. Shatter Pic Saturday is scrapped, it never stood a chance. Barely anyone viewd them and even less liked it ;p
  3. Current new topic: SHATTER PIC SATURDAYS! [:D] yay a weekly compilation based off all mods I've checked the week before. It's not much, but I suppose It's an alright starting place right? At least this way everyone will get an idea of the mods I'm working on.
  4. Working on a follower mod and preset right now not to much longer on that one. Also have a weapon re-texture for buster sword ready to go just need to figure how permissions work and perhaps ask permission to see if I can even release it or not
  5. So I was kinda off when I said I was gonna start modding soon, like really off. Either way I've gotten a new computer and it's dedicated to programming. Also I haven't stopped skyrim at all since then. I also have access to oldrim sse and vr. so I'm actually gonna mod now. I'm gonna start slow with basic mods as to test how this works and if I'm doing it right, but expect in time for my mods to get more advanced and inevitably to get very intricate

Additionally the stuff I'm shooting for "when I get fairly proficient at modding" is fully customized character mods with quest lines, creature and rideable mods, weapon mods, maybe a few spell with each follower, and a some new world areas and player home mods. Lastly the kind of mods I'm planning o make are one to make Skyrim feel like it's connected to a much bigger existence. My main idea is gonna be to use dwemer technology and magic as an excuse to say things like ot...
  6. Final Fantasy X and 7 definitely are my favorites. imagining a mod that adds the summons would be pretty neat. I wonder if MihaliMods would consider it, since he's always making cool new creature packs
  7. Hello Kekzoom / TRZ here, there's a question I'd like to ask the modding community. What kind of headset do you prefer when modding in virtual reality? I've been modding for about two years now and since I've seen alot of interesting things you can do to games that already exist. It's even more interesting to take this freedom to virtual reality. Personally my favorite game to mod is Skyrim VR. Fallout 4 can be very interesting as well, although I've yet to mod it in virtual reality. From my experience in virtual game modding, the headset you use and the setup you have makes a very big difference in how your experience will go. From your headset, router, computer, and VR running program "like Steam VR", The quality of graphics, latency, and stability can get anywhere from a blurry broken mess or nothing at all to a completely life-like experience the likes of which I still am in awe at. So out of both my own curiosity and to help others who want to get into VR game modding What VR setup do you prefer? As for me personally, at the moment I'm using the Occulus Quest 2 running on Steam VR through Virtual Desktop. This method seems very reliant on how powerful your computer is and the stability is dependent on your router selection. Unfortunately I'm overdue for a new cpu, although there are methods to get much more out of your game by altering setting in various places involving VR usage. I used Skyrim VR Guide Compendium to figure out alot of changes you can make to get a VR experience more like what you'd want if you're using an outdated setup like me or get even more out of it for someone with high grade hardware. Later then. And happy modding to you
  8. I may start modding soon, beware you might like my characters ;3
  9. I was considering getting a VR system primarily for Skyrim VR. I've been researching VR headsets and it seems like there are a good amount of them to choose from and steam and Skyrim both work with different VR systems but are touchy about which they use. The most I've been hearing about is Occulus Rift and Vive VR I've modded both Skyrim Legendary and Skyrim SE, so I realize how buggy modding can be and since Skyrim VR can be touchy, I'd like to go with the most preferred system on Nexus. So would any of you guys like to point me and whoever else is considering the same situation in the right direction? :3 Also I'd like to hear what VR you just prefer and how you go about modding Skryim VR seeing as how it's a whole new style of playing Skyrim and it's been out for a little while now.
