If I pay someone money for something, like a game, or a mod, then I expect it to be supported like it's your job. Get it? Most mods I've used over the years are made by one or two people and get supported as best as those folks can, but not enough to warrant me forking over cash. I'm not against paying for mods, there have been a few over the years that were better than the game they were for. I can never play Oblivion again without OOO or Oblivion XP. I'd pay money for those. As for modders moving into game development. Good luck. I used to make games, it's not as fun as you think, at least with the already established big companies. Then you have tards like EAxis that devour everything in sight and shut down the smaller devs because they have something EAxis wants. RIP Westwood Online, my most favoritist job ever. My advice, stay independent if at all possible and be patient. Making a game is NOT modding a game, understand that from the start. Making a game will damn near ruin you on playing them. I've been there, done that. It's NOT fun.
