Yea its kinda sad, i heard Bioware is against mod tools because they dont wanna be expected to maintain said mod tools.

So it seems like such a lackluster reason to be turned away from a game, but I cannot for the life of me get past that camera positioning/angle. It feels like a solid 1/5th of the screen is just your PC blocking your situational awareness. Provided that Bioware is using the same/similiar game engine, whats the likelihood of a modder looking into changing the X Y Z parameters of the cameras positioning? I know its been done in Dragon Age: Inquisition via this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/1474/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fdragonageinquisition%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1474&pUp=1 so possibly half the work has been done already.

Page File System settings being ignored, please help
Kezriak replied to Kezriak's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
So I took your advice and looked into it, apparently my core clock is running at near 100% capacity at all times. I really dont have any reason for this, no grass mods, only ones i got are true storms and the texture optimization packs. The biggest drops are anywhere with long distance views to them and/or the downtown boston region. Im also rocking the dynamic shadow fps mod aswell so idk. No enb or sweetfx reshade to speak of -

windows 10 64bit gtx twin frozr 970 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram I5 4670 3.4GHZ quad core fallout 4 installed on 120gb SSD cpu usage sits around mid 60s to a high of low 80% unevenly across the 4 cores, ram sits at 6gb of usage, gpu is at a high of 60%, for some reason though my game lags like crazy in certain areas even though none of these system components are maxed out or close to it. My pagefile sits at 7gb with a high of 9gb on the odd occasion, usually this is when the game lags and fps drops from 60 to a low of 30s. The settings in my control panel have been messed around with, I have moved the pagefile off and onto my SSD, adjusted the minimum start amount and max, nevertheless the game ignores the settings and just uses it pagefile almost all the time and dumps memory onto it. I've turned off the pagefile only to have the game not even start, please help.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3984/? Something like that but with the conventional raider armor the player and npcs can equip please.

Common theme in most shooters is when your primary is low on ammo you can quickdraw your secondary weapon in times of need, maybe have it as its own hotkey as well so it doesnt take a inventory slot.

The time between strikes with melee weapons and gun bash makes them completely obsolete, any chance someone could look into making it faster so they are actually effective?

Performance Trouble, need pro tips on what to upgrade
Kezriak replied to Kezriak's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Alrighty, thanks for the feedback -
Been playing for a while and recently upgraded to a mod called Commonwealth Spawns Extended for increased spawnpoints throughout the world, even before then my performance was iffy at best in the downtown areas, I am just curious as to whether or not I should upgrade my ram for a immediate boost Specs I5 4670 Non-K @3.4ghz quad core MSI Twin Frozr 970 8gb DDR3 Ram (system info in control panel says only 7.88 is available.) Fallout 4 installed on a 275 GB SSD During gameplay my pagefile usage skyrockets to like 10 GB and ram usage hovers in and around 4-5 GB CPU is running pretty warm at mid to high 60s with a max of 71 Celcius on average operating at 65-80% capacity Game Crashes are not unheard of and stutters abound, any help would be appreciated.

Anything over 255 and things start going wild I find, these just start randomly cutting some loose for no reason

Power Armor -Ricochet perk built into Power Armor but on a minor scale like 5-10% -Alternative variations (obvious on here but needs to be stated) I.E. Master Chief, Space Marine (Both Warhammer 40k and Starcraft) but also original ones, was thinking maybe a thinner less bulky version so it doesn't impede third person camera aiming with the shoulder pads -Sparks and/or damage decals on hit -Cracks in Visor when in first person at certain damage thresholds Third Person gameplay -Camera script mod in game (like Absolute Camera mod for Witcher 3) Also with scripts to trigger on various events such as power armor, exploration and third person combat all getting different presets. --Cover animation system (animations are in the game as is since the AI routinely uses em, just need a script to trigger it on aiming when next to a wall/cover) -Camera hotkey for switching over shoulders -More blood decals on player character that last longer (such as until you rest in a bed) With a cleanliness system, possibly spawning more A.I. wild dogs to chase after you due to the smell of blood and sweat. Immersion -Death alternative mod to coincide with Survival difficulty overall, giving players a greater incentive to run away from fights (i.e. you get 50%+ of your caps and ammo stores stolen from you and wake up in a dungeon) -Eating and Drinking animations to go with new Survival Difficulty -Greater Enemy Spawns at night to give players incentive to bunker down come sundown -Have a certain number of favourited weapons appear on your character at all times -HDT Physics on weapons from previous bullet point (think HDT Equipment and Equipment Overhaul mods from Skyrim) -Crouching and interaction animations when looting bodies -Crippled limbs need to be healed with bandages (already a mod, but thinking an improvement would be bandages physically being on your character) -Hot and cold being factored in (environment overhaul needed for this one) with hot=greater increase of thirst throught sweat, cold=poorer aim and reduced AP) -(continued) have large amounts of gear/power armor add to you sweat factor depending on location, with dives in irradiated water offering a cooldown or reset of said value. Overall Gameplay -Faster reset on weapon bash timer (So you can not necessarily spam the rifle butt ability but use it more frequently) -Melee combat with combo system (Think the two animations for most melee attacks sped up ending with a power attack animation at 1/2 damage of a actual power attack) -Faster melee combat -Duel wielding (Melee offhand ranged weapon right hand for example) -More of the alternative melee attacks mixed in with greater frequency (think the combo rifle bash, body slam and so on, possibly as part of a melee combo) -Removal of enemy limbs with bleed out timer (like with ghouls but on raiders and have them still moving, possible commit suicide with grenade a last ditch effort to finish you.) -Knockdown on Pain Train perk trigger coupled with a curb stomp -Secondary weapon system where instead of selecting weapon from favourite menu then switching, having a pistol on standby so when you tape a key twice it brings out your side-arm -Better looking armour overall (Think more detail, less bulk, great example would be the heavy leather legs, too bulky) -Heavy combat boots like for slooty male vault suit but with more height to them. -A lot of Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 armour and armour mods to be updated and transfered into this game (think gas masks, sadist armor, power gangers etc. etc.) -New enemy types (Power armor raider squads, suicidal raiders, "civilized ghouls" with guns.) I know a lot of these are very daunting and I have no right to demand them, Just thought I'd toss these ideas out there for inspiration and to create a dialogue between mod authors and players alike, cheers!

I know it sounds but but I would prefer if the camera auto centered on each attack when in combat when not locked on simply because the current lock on system is broken, it will lock onto a target far back that isn't a immediate threat and make things more difficult, So I guess what Im asking is for the ability to smack a target and go and hit another different target while not needing to manually adjust the camera to see what I am doing, thanks in advance.

Someone make a mod where you can slap on say leather left arm pieces ontop of the suits in the game (I.E. Drifter outfit looks amazing, but it cant be used in conjuction with say combat armor) so maybe classify it as a undergarment or whtever the term is?
