  1. Just wondering if that exists, I can't find it. I can't be the only one that gets annoyed when that happens, especially if you happen to enjoy the game's music. If it doesn't and if you're a mod author: take this great idea off my hands, please :tongue: Cheers
  2. Okay, so I've made simple scripts and modified others and such. My skill level in Papyrus is not all that high but since I'm acquainted with coding in general, it wasn't all that hard to understand most of what a script is meant to do. However I feel like I'm missing something. I mean, sometimes I may, for example, create a mod that modifies a quest from another mod by modifying the source code of one of its scripts and compiling. To my innocent mind, I would think that this means that when I package the BSA, only that one script is necessary in the package. But, the package manager of the creation kit sometimes suggests scripts and other things I know I haven't touched directly. What gives? Also sometimes I see in the Scripts folder that some scripts of the mod (that I hadn't touched at all) have had their last modified date updated. Since I'm making mods that modify other mods, does that mean that I'm kinda breaking the mod my mod depends on? And am I making a mistake by packaging only the scripts that I touched directly and compiled? I'm so lost, and I feel like I may be breaking things. Thanks for your time
  3. I was able to make it work by creating a faction and adding each wolf npc in there. It works although I don't like that I had to modify those NPC records. Not sure if there is a better way.
  4. It's the first time I write a script. This script is inside a Magic Effect, which then is cast by a Spell. I tried to make it so wolves become allies towards the player. But this does not work, at all. I can't find any solutions to this. I just followed the CreationKit website mini tutorial, but it didn't work, what gives? thanks Essentially the spell makes nearby wolves friendly and helpful in combat by using the CommandAnimal script that Bosmer have. I added another effect to hopefully make it so the rest of wolves are friendly towards the player but it doesn't work. I filled the properties and checked that the player does indeed become part of the wolf faction. But any wolves I spawn are hostile.   5. So I decompiled some .pex files from a mod and I think the decompiler marks "events" in the original code as "functions" in the decompiled code.   8. I'm having a fairly bizarre problem where bumping into NPCs triggers in them a response they have no sounds for. For example 'mind yourself'. When I bump into an NPC whose voicetype does not have that line, then they just mouth the words and the subtitles tell me what they were supposed to be saying. Given that, anyone has any idea what could possibly trigger something like that? I've looked in xEdit and haven't found any dialogue records having conflicts.
