  1. I know I don't need to know this, but I was so intimate with Oblivion, and I read something about Cyrodiil being invaded? What the heck happened between games? Where can I read about it in a fairly succinct manner? I know there is that Lord of Souls book, which I planned to read before Skyrim but failed to do. Does it actually tell what happens, or was that just a gimmick to get people to buy it? :) I feel lost and confused. But mostly really curious.
  2. I was one of those people in Oblivion who fretted over getting the best health and attribute increases every level, who purposely chose a race that did not have bonuses for the skills I wanted to use because I wanted to level up more. My question, how is it best to do this in Skyrim? I'm playing stealth, so I chose a wood elf (boy is she ugly, too). I have now noticed that she her stealth skills, and archery and a few other things, started with bonuses. Has this gimped my leveling? Would it be better to choose, say, an orc or redguard, who starts with lower stealth and archery skills? Or is it better to choose a race that supports the type of character I want to play? Secondarily, but maybe more importantly, and rather off-topic, without the "age" slider in character creation, I am having a really hard time creating a character that doesn't look worn and ugly. I know, it's more authentic to be older, worn and ugly, but this is my fantasy, not to mention I'm going to be staring at this character for hundreds of hours, and I'd prefer to have a young, attractive female to stare at, realistic or not. Thanks in advance for advice on the above. :)
  3. Your mods make my life! Thank you again.
  4. I CTD whenever I save. This causes corrupted saves. Obviously the bigger concern is why I'm CTD'ing when I save the game. I can't for the life of me figure it out. Starting a new game, the problem is gone, but I can't solve it with my current game. I'm going to see if Streamline's streamsave does it, but I assume it will. I'm going back through my old saves (hours back) to see if I can load one of those and if that saves okay from there, but so far, it doesn't. Ugh. :( If all I got was a corrupted save once in a while, I'd be okay with that. :) But CTD every time I try to save? That's a dealbreaker.
