  1. instead of editing super mutants, equipping some synths with this armor would be better imho.
  2. a plasma cannon/grenade launcher? i'm all for it. this game could use heavy, BFG-style plasma weaponry.
  3. there already is a space marine power armor, but only with loyalist skins so far
  4. a mjolnir mark III armor? yep, running around in one of these would be fun. about the clone armor, there's already a request for one of those, but it seems that it went unnoticed. shame, because it's a great idea. btw, i've been thinking about how to put any "un-lorefriendly" armors in the game and give some sort of an explanation on why it's here. assuming that special encounters are canon, there are time-space anomalies in the fallout universe. that could be used as a handwave on why is there a hyper-advanced armor with an on-board AI in the post-apocalyptic retrofuturistic Boston
  5. it's simple: to show off ejecting casings and charging weapons. basically, the rule of cool is in effect here.
  6. seconding this, because HOLY s#*! IT WOULD BE AWESOME. i loved the wwI/wwII-style assault rifle design and i'd love to see more weaponry like this in F4. also, these paintjobs would go along really well with a M2 machine gun or a Vickers autocannon.
  7. a Megatron armor with a matching arm cannon would be great. Newermind's armor looks finished, so hopefully we'll get to use it soon. i honestly can't wait. yes. it would be awesome. come to think of it, we need more 'utility' power armors. there's the construction PA and the submersible PA. power armors made for more mundane purposes, like a rescue/firefighter/emergency-themed PA or, as you said, a space PA, would be a great addition. it's hard for me to think that the power armor technology was used only in combat purposes.
  8. That might have been someone spotting Deacon in the same area, since one of his "disguise" outfits looks almost exactly like Sturges - only different is Deacon's still wearing his sunglasses. or it's because he drops a synth component on death. haven't checked this myself yet, though. on the topic of strong being a synth, it's depending on whether he drops the component, as this seems to be the only possible way to determine that. and, according to this, he doesn't. i like the general idea though. like, the institute created strong to keep an eye on the mutants they've created, but he became fully self-aware (or at least mutant-level aware), heard about the "milk of human kindness", got locked up...
  9. you might want to check out this mod. you'll have to follow the instructions shown in the NMM, though, which involves adding a few lines to the fallout4.ini file
  10. this guy. praise this guy. you could try making the Hellfire pauldrons a bit taller, though. they'd look better, don't you think? the original's pauldrons were tall enough to reach the air filters on the helmet. aside from my nitpicking, great job! thanks a lot for working on these.
  11. thanks for the info, man. do you know who's working on them? i'd like to see the progress. also, i once heard a rumor that someone's already working on a SC armor. can anyone confirm this?
  12. yes, another topic made by a lazy bum who can't be bothered to try creating something on their own. i have absolutely no skill in creating custom models and the only experience i had with modding Fallout games was creating some 'unique' (read: different names, better stats) weapons in F3. so, let's start with a request for the CMC-300 armor from "Starcraft". the way power armors work in F4 would work perfectly with the marine armor. i know it was requested multiple times, but it needs to be created imo. some images: front back turnaround the second one is the Institute armor, as seen in "The Art of Fallout 4". as Tumbajamba has shown with his Spartan armor, creating a torso piece extending over the head of the user is possible and looking great. besides, it would be nice if there were more power armor-wearing enemies, not just the occasional raiders and (player-dependent) BoS. next we have the "T-51-C", more commonly known as the "Air Force T-57c armor" created as a concept sketch for original Fallout by Caleb Cleveland. i can't really think of any reasons why it should be created aside from it looking awesome. bear with me. finally, the Enclave Hellfire armor. the best armor in the series, if you ask me. also, it's slightly disappointing that there are so few (if any) references to the Enclave aside from a few mods, like the X-02 armor. imo, there should be way more gear hidden by the former Enclave members, who tried to hide from the BoS, just like there were the Remnants in the Mojave wasteland. so, that's all i had. too many?
