what about the textures though?

thanks for the advice. i actually figured out how to get ENB's set up and working, and i now have a massive mod list once again. even if you are just using the boost function of ENB, it massively improves how much visual stuff you can have. (basically boosts the available RAM for the game.) i discovered that was the source of my game crashing.

update, i said screw it, fully uninstalled skyrim, reinstalled with a much smaller load list cutting a good half of what i was doing out and am running with that, it is running fine. (Got the inportant bits, lock on/ 3rdper overhaul, companions, familiar faces, open cities, and not much more than those)

alright, i had a post up here earlier, i went to update it, and it disappeared. i have a load order, game crashes near whiterun anytime i try to approach it, have not tried other cities. i have been playing with my load order through both LOOT and Vortex, and clean save editors, and xEdit, and i have no clue what is causing these crashes or how to fix them i have gotten all of these mods to work seperate from one another, i have NOT been able to get them working together and very much so would like too. actually, may have found the issue. I don't have patches between many of the mods and USLEEP because i didnt know USLEEP stood for Universal Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch........ imma try going through my mods once they finish redownloading and making sure i have every USLEEP patch i might need Will update if that works

i definitely have a very poor understanding of xedit and all of the videos i've looked up on it went over my head or were too old to be used with the current versions
