I should have clarifed what i wanted to to do my bad. I made some custom graffiti for an upcoming mod that has a player home and random graffiti round boston. I needed the extra 2 for the spray paint decals. so it should not relfect and look like any other graffiti in game.

I need some help on how to generate the n.dds and s.dds which im almost 100 percent sure make the texture not shiny and gross. If anyone can tell me what is should do it would be greatly appreciated.

Alrighty iv been gone for a bit but development of Fort Frostmoth is still underway. Reason I am posting is about if anyone wishes to contribute. Now im not asking for help as in I don't understand just trying to expand the team so it can come out faster instead of me slowly finishing the mod either way I still expect to post this within I wanna say December being the latest I wanna spend but the date isn't final because I still got work ahead of me. But if you want to help you are more then welcomed to join my discord. So once I have the base texture its called hand handtatted.dds where do I get or generate the _n and _1st. I found the other mods that add new hand textures don't have a _sk but I can add one for safety. I see also that other mods I have, ones by dragbody have a weird looking purple map which Im guessing is the correct version of the _n. If what i said makes no sense I can post a screen if im able to or I can DM it to you if u want to see it for reference. EDIT: I moved the purple maps named em the same as my hand and it worked. -

ok so all i need to do is add the letters _n and _sk because I think that right there is the problem EDIT: thank you so much I fixed it. the reflection is kinda whack but ill figure it out i think -
Hello all sorry for the spam of posts recently but Im trying to learn the GECK. I made a custom race and made a custom hand texture and rigged it to a .nif but the hands still come out as pink. Any suggestions for a fix i couldnt really find it online. Also to add to it in the GECK preview the hand texture shows up.

Ok so i have a bunch of files of graffiti for NV and don't know how I go about putting them on models so I can place them. Now i did try making a new object by getting the Courier Six? graffiti and then changing the texture to the new graffiti thats roughly the same size. If anyone needs more details let me know but thanks in advance.

Activator Notes

So I can't figure out how to make an activator note like the one in Boulder city. On the second floor you find a holotape that when picked up a text window pops up saying a message but you don't pick up the note. Let me know if any of you know how to do this. Thank :)

So im not sure how but I just had him follow me around and he doesnt pull his fists out its only a bug when I just recruit him. Once he's with me if I have gun or hell a knife he pulls his riot shotgun out and uses companion ammo fine. He uses whatever you give him which Ill sort out later but pretty much I just needed to test it. Thank you all for the help :) -

Yeah so I had him following me and he uses his fists when I do. He has a unique riot shotgun with companion ammo. But he gets like 5 or so shots before he says f*#@ it and picks up a melee weapon and goes postal on the closest enemy. -
Ok so recently I made a companion with a companion wheel and for some reason he refuses to use weapons and just takes his fists out and puts them away really fast. I couldn't find anything on this and had a feeling this might be a companion companion bug. I can provide more if needed but if anyone knows whats wrong plz let me know. If needed I can upload this to the Nexus which can allow downloads to see what the problem is.
