  1. I saw there is a calculator tool in the station office but it dose not function. It's incredibly useful especially if you are doing two jobs or more. You will be able to get an idea of your final train mass, final expected income and the final train lenght and mass so you can figure out what to do next. Maybe a piece of paper to write all this down.
  2. Hello, One of the top mods I find useful is the handbrake mod by Zeibach. I think it won't be a bad idea to do a followup expansion for the locomotives. Especially DE6 would benefit from this. Also i suspect the air compressor has not yet been simulated so we'd need a "virtual" one much like the air break mod where it expands nicely on that system.
  3. I think the DE6's engine room doors don't extend enough, i think they should extend all the way, see rough drawing. Basically they stop there as seen in the image but ideally should open up all the way to the wall.
  4. This mod request will add some cool new challenges for the player. You will now find the diesels or steamer in a random state. So for example the steamer would need to be topped up with water or coal because the previous driver "forgot" to do that. So before starting your job you have to manually service that locomotive. Another scenario is, your shunter could be low on fuel or the engine hasn't been serviced for 20 years, so off to the service bay with it before you set off.
  5. I wanted to make the game more realistic by making changes to the engine service for Diesels only. At the moment you have to service the entire locomotive to clear the fees. The changes would simply take the engine service requirement as put in in a separate pile where you only have to service the engine when the red light comes on but you may do so if you wish before hand as an option but the new rule would be just do it when it's actually required.
  6. Train Simulator 2022 has a few Russian locomotives and freight cars. One of these is the all familiar tanker. The suggestion is to implement these sounds to the DV tanker cars. DreamTrainsHD shows this in action
  7. Hello! One thing that is missing is that top train fan memory when the diesel fumes created like a light trail behind the train or with the train. Could we try to experiment with this and see what outcomes can be achieved?
  8. Hi! I've had alot of fun with the little shunter but the more you drive it, the more you notice that it's missing a few things so you tend to wonder if it will ever be re-worked. The shunter IRL vs the current one, what I would like to have on it is a couple of extra things: 1. horn object on the roof 2. sliding windows on left and right sides of the cabin as IRL 4. static wipers (decoration) on the main glass and doors 5. animated door handles
  9. Hi all, I thought the grill should be more interesting. I have a charcoal bbq at home as well but there is much difference here. When you light up the coals they produce alot of smoke and it dose not shoot straight up like a locomotive on steroids. The smoke remains present low level, there is a mix of dark and cream smoke which after 5 minutes goes to blue and the a bit of a light cream color before the coals are white. So the idea behind this mod is the following: 1. when pouring coal, show lumps of coal and sound 2. make the smoke behave more-like in reality 3. show coals hot/amber-like when ready.
  10. I created a topic for all the mods for MSC here and you can post the mod you want here so maybe the author can give it some attention. I'll start... Concrete Block mod for MSC is about a year old now. I tried it out because I need concrete blocks, but the problem is that the car itself slides off like they are considered very slippery or icy. So it's not really working properly.

I have noticed the game could benefit from small improvement modifications, here is my suggestion for mods. 1. hoses for fuel pumps at the gas station 2. passengers for the bus (can start of with static passengers) 3. option to raise the flag on pole, the flag hanged in the garage wall 4. fuel pump sounds (covers sounds like fuel pumping) 5. more in game sounds, when you pick up objects and drop them like for example fuel canister would make a sound when you pick it up if it was full of liquid and if you'd carry it. If you'd drop it it would make a noise
