  1. Thank you Ethreon, I swear to god last time I checked those vertex normals looked good! so I assumed that it has nothing to do with normals obviously I was wrong. It seems figment's script doesn't correctly export mesh and normals. Welp, now I need to find a way to export my stuff intact. Anyway thanks again.
  2. Hello all , I am currently using 3ds max 2012 and figment's nif script. With vanilla head textures and mesh I did some experiments I imported the vanilla mesh and then without doing anything just exported the mesh right away as nif format. Although there wasn't any modification done there was clearly visible seam lines around the neck And I think even the Outfit Studio method creates those seams too. even though vanilla head mesh and Max/ OS exported mesh looked identical the exported ones got some blunt shading seam issues. How do I remove these seams? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some photos: One on the left :vanilla textures and mesh One on the right:vanilla textures and the mesh exported from Max/OS and my 3ds max import and export options

  4. "VF_Full_precision" flag....is..is driving me insane!! Is this flag unusable for character's head mesh? I heard that nif exporters deforms mesh and i know almost only the solution is the OutfitStudio method.. I made a custom head model few days ago and I ve been trying to fix the deformation on my head mesh but whenever I tick that flag with outfitstudio my mesh streches all over the place.. without the flag my custom model works fine..but then I'll have to stick with the deformed mesh  any help would be greatly appreciated..
  5. Thanks for your kind answer. I've already cheacked _sk file but whether with or without it the problem persists. Anyway thanks for your help.
