Changing Rayya's voice type to FemaleSultry
nbtc971 replied to nbtc971's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It's a vanilla voice type, why wouldn't the files exist? -
I don't like that Aela's and Rayya's voice is the same since I married Aela and Rayya is my Housecarl. I tried changing Rayya's voice type in the CK under Trait's, but now she doesn't speak. I assume I am missing something else that needs to change. Thanks for your time.

Can you guys disable mods that don't have, and haven't had for a while, any files? It's really frustrating to see the mod you want but can't get. I'd rather the mod page was just turned off. aerym has 3 mods on the Nexus and you can't download a one of them.

Most people will care more about their hard earned money being wasted than the opportunity to leave a negative review in the hopes that it destroys a mod author. -

I didn't come along and say anything, because it's not my place, however Bethesda, in this case, did create the very tools you used to create your mod. They also created the game you are modding. Obviously they have the right to tell you if it's ok to profit from their work. I personally didn't make a single comment in favor or against the system. I did however listen and read opinions from my favorite youtubers and I felt like they made some valid points. If a system can be put in that is fair to everyone, then fine. I don't think gaming companies and Valve should take 75% of the freakin profits! I also want assurances that the mod is going to work when I buy it and after any other updates. In addition, I would want any mod conflicts to be reconciled in a timely manner, or eliminated all together. Right now I just don't think modders are going to be able to provide the type of service required for a paid product. At least not with Skyrim. For it work, we might have to have a new system for the next game. -

You act as though someone hired you for a job. It was your decision and own desire to mod, no one asked you or forced you. In addition, when you created your content, you had to think at the time that you were doing it for free, so, if you don't want to do it for free any longer, then don't do it. I can't really blame you for that. Anyone who creates anything for public consumption has to know that lots of people are entitled jerks. If you didn't, then I'm sure that was quite the wake up call. I haven't read all the comments, I'm sure there are a lot of fools saying stupid stuff, but that's the world we live in. Some will choose to punish those who are grateful due to the comments of the lowest denominator and I think that sucks, but, I can't really complain about it because it's not my time and effort that's being taken to task. -

Gamers are tired of being nickel and dimed. If you feel betrayed by the community as a modder and want to be paid for your work, I'm sorry. If that zaps your drive and ambition to mod, I understand. As a consumer, I'm tried of gaming companies and publishers figuring out how to get every last bit of money out of my wallet. It's too bad that modders pay the price in this situation, but it's a lot easier to give up a mod than to give up a new game that has been marketed with millions of dollars, so the developers and publishers will continue to make their money. To be honest, the service they were offering was going to be a nightmare with no support, no way to guarantee if mods were going to work after game updates. No way to know if a mod will conflict with another mod, as they often do, etc. Come up with a better plan and I can back it. But the modder only get 25% of the profit on top of the other issues? Forget it. -
Please stop rotating pics of nude people on the front page. I was just checking out the site for any updates and there is a nude woman pic as the main graphic. I have kids, I don't want them to see dad going to a site with nude women on it. Thanks.

So what if it's a fantasy game? That doesn't mean we want pink bunnies and bikini's. There is still some lore that is established both by Bethesda, and the typical fantasy world that this game resides in, such as Lord of the Rings and other novels.

Skyrim nexus site (and only skyrim) very very slow
nbtc971 replied to RegM's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
No disrespect, but this site has been slow since I started coming here a few years ago. It's just worse right now. -
He will just continue to die. I'd rather just have a mod. Plus he died a couple of weeks ago and I just realized how uncool it is not to have a blacksmith in Riverwood, especially now that I live in Lakeview Manor.

Sadly Alvor headbutted a dragon and is now in his grave. Are there any mods out there that will replace Alvor as blacksmith in Riverwood? He was my source for steel ingots. Thanks.

Question regarding assigning body mods to individual NPC's
nbtc971 replied to nbtc971's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
My spouse is Aela, now I'm wondering if I had created a race for her.. would that allow me to change her body individually? Wow.. I'm confused on how I had accomplished it before. :P -
Sorry to be behind the times but I've been away from the game for about a year and a half. When I came back, I noticed some problems. After digging into it I believe I have figured it out... Did Bethesda change the way the game reads textures and meshes for NPCs from the data folder? I could of sworn before I had stopped playing that you could assign individual body mods by simply creating the appropriate NPC folders in "meshes" and "textures", but now it seems that you have to create a mod and create a texture set, and some other hooey to assign NPC's individual looks such as tattoo's, UNP, or other body mods, as opposed to having mods like that apply to all NPC's. Is that true and if so, can someone point me to a tutorial on how to use the new method? Any help is appreciated.

Hello, I'm having some problems using Northgirl (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38053//?) outfits and Marriage Dynamic Outfits (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23099/?) because apparently the keywords for parts of the Northgirl outfit aren't standard. I was wondering, because I can't find the information, if anyone could tell me the proper keywords (as Beth uses them) for pants? Here are pictures of the two main pieces of the outfit in CK showing their current keywords: http://www.clan-tkcfiles.com/files/pants.PNG http://www.clan-tkcfiles.com/files/knit_top.PNG The problem is, the dynamic outfit mod uses keywords to add clothing and right now, you can't get your spouse to wear the pants and top at the same time, it's either-or. Mod author says its probably because of the keywords. I was hoping to update the Northgirl mod myself so it will work as intended. To me, without really knowing how it works, it looks like the fact that they both have ClothingBody as keywords might be the problem that Marriage Dynamic Outfits is having, but that's just a layman's guess. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a mod that highlights newly added map markers?
nbtc971 replied to nbtc971's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah, I found the colored map markers, not really what I was looking for. I just wanted the newly added markers to be highlighted. Not even sure if it's possible but I could of sworn I saw one of those a long time ago. -
Is there a mod that highlights newly added map markers?
nbtc971 posted a topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Seems like I've seen a mod like that before, but I can't find anything. What I want is a mod that will either add color or have some other way to make a map maker that has just been added (or recently added) to the map. I don't know how many times I'm walking by someone and they mention some place I should check out and I don't really hear, or understand the name of the cave, fort, etc, and I can't find it on the map because it doesn't stand out at all. Thanks for the help. -
Well I'm glad someone said something... Actually I do not think the TABLE tag has been deprecated (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_table.asp), however I am a PHP developer professionally and realize that CSS is a preferred way to place elements, unfortunately that really won't be an option here. Regardless, if TABLE were to be deprecated (or if I am missing the announcement), it will continue to be supported in all major browsers for many, many years to come I would guess. As for the devs being busy, I can completely understand that. I was just hoping for more control over the look of my description page. Oh and btw, converting bbcode to TABLE has already been done, I'm sure you could borrow that code from some place, in fact, here it is, however it doesn't have any checks in it for proper formatting.. http://www.phorum.org/phorum5/read.php?62,144641

This crap gets a response, but I post about giving mod authors more freedom with description page design by adding a couple more, standard, bbcode's and my thread is full of cricket sounds. Even a 'no' would be better than getting ignored. And so I'm not stealing this thread, I don't like being forced to register for forums either when all I want is to download something, but since I use this site quite a bit right now, it wasn't a problem for me.
