Thanks for the update. Been having major issues downloading mods for Fallout 4 for the last few days. Suspected it was something to do with the new Skyrim alright.. Suppose I'll check back in a few days when everything has calmed down a bit.. :-)

I'm having the same issue (CTD before splash) but I'm on 1.6.9. Solution was to temporarily remove d3d11.dll as it was giving a .NET runtime error in event viewer.

Nice one.. I'm going to give this a go as I got severely messed up and mixed up with SK, SKE, SSEX, SKI, BS, AWKCR, HEXS, CTD's and missing menus!

Yea, it's a mess! I've been trying to track down CTD's and I'm blaming these at the moment. SKE, SSE for SKE, SK Independent, SKI Homemaker replacement.. etc... Nobody has really made it clear what's going on here and LOOT is telling me there's incompatibilities between them too. I don't want to lose all the crap that I've built by uninstalling them either..
