  1. Thanks for this mate. Love your quests and charactes, and Firebase Zulu sounded like something special. Too bad the engine had to s#*! itself. This will be an interesting read.
  2. Near Boston, perhaps? He is undaunted by the prospect of walking great distances, so... I'll be hoping to see The Buttered Biscuit eventually. In any case, looking forward to this mod, and especially what you've got in store for us for FO4.
  3. I can't wait to get blown up by mortars. And you know I'm bringing Russell back from the grave for this one. Happy to see that some of the work you put on Firebase Zulu will see the light of day!
  4. Just finished the mod, and loved it. The climax and ending were fantastic, great way to finish the series. I both regret and don't regret bringing Russell along.
  5. The moment has arrived. I'm still undecided as to leave companions behind, or bring them with me and (potentially) watch them die a horrible death. Is it something along those lines, or is it more an issue that they might break the mod or make it unbalanced?
  6. I fully support the continuation of Someguy's Youtube series of raging at the failure of his recording software (seriously though, that s#*! was hilarious. Quickly grew into one of my favourite Youtubers)
  7. Good point. Personally I'm not a big fan of games developed by Bethesda, as I find the narrative and setting to be pretty dull and generic. I think there's a reason New Vegas has so many great quest and companion mods, as it's developed by Obsidian, so the game itself has a better narrative, story, factions, characters etc. It's only logical that it inspires more story heavy content. I think people will still mod for New Vegas, and people will still turn to New Vegas for that sort of mods. Dunno for how long, but it's definitely worth finishing your mod, especially if you've already put a lot of work into it.
  8. It's absolutely ridiculous to think that Someguy has an obligation to any of us to deliver anything. reallancem already summed it up, but this is something he does for free, in his own time. The man has real life stuff to concern himself with, he doesn't have to answer to anyone on these forums. And believing that you're entitled to anything in general is also ridiculous. The kind of mods he does take time and effort, and he's already delivered a lot of quality quest mods, more than most. Let's see anyone else try to reach that number of great quest mods.
  9. It means 'doesn't equal'. In this case it's a condition that Cass isn't hired, that she's not in the Lucky 38 etc
  10. Have to say, this looks really promising. Love what you've showed us in these few images, the interiors look really unique and detailed. And that conversation with the robot looks brilliant. Color me excited for this mod.
  11. Had some trouble with the first two uploads, but the third one finally worked (v 1.1). Only took me a few hours to patch the first thing I ever made, Obsidian would be proud. So yeah, if any of you downloaded one of the first two versios, just get the updated 1.1 version. On a sidenote, I do plan to add some content to the mod as time passes. A bit of quest content, and some other interesting stuff. I would also like to have some custom armor and weapons, but I don't have the talent for that, and not really the time to get into it, unfortunately. If anyone would be interested in working with me on that, do send me a PM. I'd love to add some unique loot. Other than that, just enjoy the mod now, hopefully.
  12. Right, sorry for the triple post. The mod is re-uploaded and is ready to be played now.
