  1. This might not be the best solution for you but this one worked for me: - Uninstall Nexus Mod Manager, also go to your "my games" folder and delete Nexus Mod Manager (This will also delete all the mods you have recently installed, keep that in mind) which should be located in the same hard drive where you installed NMM. - When uninstalling NMM, make sure you remove all profile settings and such, leave no such traces - Install NMM again, this time when you get to the part where it's scanning all the games available for NMM, cancel it, cross out Skyrim and only Keep Skyrim SE - Also make sure that your Skyrim SE NMM has all the Associations (In general tab) checked This is what I did and it worked for me, besides for now, you're better off downloading manually because the website is experiencing heavy loads and so NMM suspended the 'Download with manager' option due to the increased amount of people in the site lately, hope this worked for you two!
  2. never understood how it worked, you should give me a tut when its out on SSE ;P
  3. i really want a professional answer to this question, i've been wondering myself about it too, hopefully some mod expert or a reply from Bethesda employee can sort this out
  4. Thank you for a piece of advice, before purchasing this PSU, I have read so many positive reviews about it that it made me convinced, also i'm pretty positive that my R9 270 doesn't go over 750W, i've read that 450 is its requirements when it comes to PSU. I will try to use another PSU cable for my GPU tonight. Also, Skyrim doesn't really restart my computer, all it does is either when I click continue, my monitors will lose signal, and I HAVE to press the reset button or, like what you and I said, after one-three hours of gameplay, the computer shuts off and restarts, but most of the time, the monitors just turns off and I'll have to click the reset button to power my monitors back again. Skyrim is subject to freeze issues, the most common being a black screen with sounds/music still playing DURING a game session. Typically, that requires the tesv.exe process to be killed in Task Manager, or a computer restart. If you ever force a restart, by removing power or holding the the power button down for more than 4 seconds, Windows will generate the event 41 kernel power error message when Windows fires up again. If the freeze is a separate issue from the "shuts off and restarts" problem (it could be), you might try the Safety Load mod. That mod helps prevent Infinite Loading Screens (ILS), which the freeze issue seems to be a species of. Safety Load will work with the SKSE memory allocation patch (Sheson's Patch) to help prevent known bugs. No amount of mods or mod errors will CAUSE a "shuts off and restarts" problem, though a demanding game may exacerbate some other issue. A catastrophic failure in Windows, or an application program, will usually result in a BSOD and the machine will simply stop, but not power down and restart. In the Event Viewer, select one of the kernel power messages and click on the Details tab. Select all the text and paste it into a post. What we're looking for are Bugcheck codes other than 0. If Windows "recognizes" a potential cause, it will populate the Bugcheck code fields with some data. Typically, a power issue (PSU) will not be recognized by Windows and the Bugcheck codes will all be zeroes. AMD drivers usually generate their own message logs in Event Viewer; you might peruse that log and see if the driver is reporting any issues. Unfortunately, those logs are a lot like Papyrus logs; a lot of useless messages are probably in there. I'm not an expert computer troubleshooter, so take whatever actions you think are appropriate. But if the problem remains after "modding" fixes, don't rely on hardware reputation alone; ALL hardware is subject to failure, no matter how new or how expensive. Very reliable hardware is simply less prone to failure, its not immune to it. EDIT: For some reason, I keep thinking about your two monitors. For the life of me, I can't remember why, but there's a little warning bell going off in my head. Have you tried running just a single monitor to see if the symptoms change? I'll look around now since I mentioned it, but there's something about dual monitors and a power issue that I seem to recall. I'll post back if I find anything. Thank you, i will try running Skyrim in one monitor, I'll report back the results I looked over the details tab, and here's how the "pattern goes": The recent one has BugCheckCode: "0", scrolling back a week or two, there's this one that says Bugcheck Code: "268435582". Scrolling back further I see a different one, BugcheckCode: "278" yeah those two are the recent errors I recorded when I scrolled down back a couple of weeks. Currently I have limited access to Internet right now so I can't really copy the whole thing, but do I really need to?
  5. @Reynald I see, I removed it, also I did the Skyrim memory patch and it still crashes.. Anything else to do?
  6. This clearly is a memory allocation and set up issue. The longer you play the worse it gets. Go through STEP wiki and go through all of the set up tweaks putting Shesons patch in place and ENB boost as well as safety load for starters. I'll look into this, right now i'm reading and i'm about to do this: http://enbdev.com/ctdfix2.html Would this help? Also I installed SSME, extracted the filies in the skyrim's root folder... same results, ill update you once im done with the Memory Patch.

  8. Thank you for the tips, but I've been monitoring my temps, and they don't go beyond the limit. I'm using a desktop so my CPU just got its thermal compound redone. Yeah too much mods, I'll see what I can do, if there's no more options i'll just reinstall skyrim.
  9. This has been going on since last year, and I quit Skyrim for like a month or two and when I was back at it again, it always happens. tl;dr Everytime I play Skyrim, woo everything is fine, do quests, play around. But then, after the next hour or two, either my monitor will lose signal (but I still hear the sounds, music from the game and from my computer), or my computer restarts without any BSOD. Sometimes, my computer also does this when I click "continue". They all show this Kernel-Power 41 (63), and upon researching it, I read that, "Kernel error 41 simply means the PC shut off without going through the shut down process". Adding to it, 2 days ago, I had a long gaming session of CSGO and nothing happened, temps were fine, no Kernel-Power errors. Then I did a bit of GTA V, and nope, no errors.
