  1. So, with and without mods, apparently from the get go for Baldur's Gate 3, in combat the game will hang if you reach the end of your available actions. You can't attack, move, end turn, switch characters, you can't save or load a game, or even exit the game from the escape menu. Getting a bug fix for this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I don't know about AD&D, but I really think it should go back to 3.5 rules.
  3. In the D&D supplement I'm writing (and I'm hoping to publish this year, titled Masters of the Dark Dominion) I have a feat that reintroduces Gestalt builds to 5e in a new way. It reads as follows: "If you take this feat, choose one other class, you gain all class abilities form this class as if it were your main class, and you level this class parallel to your main class. You start this class at level one, regardless of what level you have obtained in your main class when taking this feat. You may not take a class of the same type as your main class. (E.g. If you're a Sorcerer you can't take Wizard or Warlock, but you can take Cleric, Druid, Ranger, Bard, or any martial class. If you're a Rogue you can't take Monk, Ranger, or Barbarian, but you can take Paladin, Cleric, Bard, etc). You can take this feat multiple times, each time acquiring a different class." I think this'd be a great feat addition for the game and help to fix the mutliclassing levelling issue, at least as an alternative. I'd make this as a mod myself, but I have no idea where to begin or how to mod BG3. My modding experience is mostly with Minecraft.
  4. I was wondering if anyone had looked into recreating some of the more interesting buildings from FO76 for Fallout 4? I'd love to see the tall apartment buildings like Hornwright Estates made available in FO4. I'd also love to see a build kit for buildings like Top of the World.

So there are plenty of overhauls that make the Gunners friendly or a full faction, but what I'd like to see made is a mod that allows you to make an alliance between the Gunners and the Minutemen, or even better an make an alliance between the Minutemen and any faction. Having the Gunners join the Minutemen would instantly expand the reach of the Minutemen in game and to me seems like a more realistic part of the whole post-apocalyptic feel of the game.

So, I just finished updating F04 and got some of the CC content, the penthouse (bhouse.esl) the BFG gun, solargun, etc. Before the update my game worked fine, but now when I try to load any save, it crashes immediately after the save loads from the loading screen. I see my character for an instant and then CTD. This is my mod list. I've checked it with Loot and it isn't kicking any errors.   7. So I started digging into this and the meshes and textures for the railroad are all in the Meshes Landscape RailRoads folder. There are whole undamaged sets in it. So arguably all that would be needed to make this work, is to take the unbroken versions, apply navmeshes to them, and then take the train models and apply the same navcontrols linking them to the navmeshes set for the track. The difficulty, I would think, would be making all of the tracks in game cleaned, and to either remove or make the in game trains fixable so they can be used. The other difficulty is programming the trains so they stop at given points where stations can be built. There is also then the issue of adding navmeshes to the trains themselves for passengers, but those could potentially be taken from the vertibird.

  10. So we see trains and tracks all over the Commonwealth. I think it'd be cool if we could get a mod that allowed us to not only fix the train tracks, and clean up the cars, but actually have a train running through the common wealth. A sort of immersive fast travel system that requires us to build and fix up the trains.
  11. So has anyone started to use this, apparently the Creation Kit is now available in the Beta version of the game.
  12. I had a similar problem and I solved it by manually installing Homemaker and its data files into the Fallout4 install directory. Several mods have issues with the virtual store that the current Nexus Mod Manager uses and will not load meshes. The CTD is caused by missing meshes.
  13. Yeah, Fo4Edit doesn't behave for me. It won't load mods and crashes. That is not an option for me. As for merging mods, I don't see what the big issues is here at least for someone who knows how to build mods. Most of the mods do the same things that I'd like combined, many add building items to the build options. Furniture items, etc and so forth. Combining everything they add into one mod that has its own ID where their compatibility would be tested and proven to work rather than having to mess with load orders and praying that updated mods will work together (which they don't currently. 1.8 Snap N Build breaks Homemaker and will not load properly no matter what load order I use) must be a better option for the user. Telling me to go grab a program that doesn't want to work, despite following the instructions on how to use it, doesn't help me or anyone else.
  14. Okay, so one of the biggest things I love about Fallout 4 is the ability to build settlements. But one of the biggest issues is that I love many of the mods that offer different things to build with, and unfortunately, even with patches and attempts at a dozen different load orders, all of the mods I want to use crashes my game. COTDs are abound. So my request is simple, can someone combine several of the mods I like to use into one mod that doesn't clash or cause COTDs? Key mods that would be good combined: Homemaker, Settlements Expanded, Snap N' Build, Alternate Settlements, and Craftable Elevators (wood and institute). This'd be great as one large crafting mod titled Settlement Ultimate Expansion. Combining Scrap everything, scrap the commonwealth, no build limits, no object limits and simple intersections would be great. Title it Settlement Ultimate Expansion Scrapper Armorsmithing, Better Item Sorting, Institute Crafting Stations. These as another combined mod. Settlement Ultimate Expansion: Generators would combine Better Generators, Craftable Solar Panels, and several of the other power line, conduit, and power pole mods. With fewer number of mods with combine items that no longer conflict because they're addressed properly without memory read issues would help so much. Thanks
