  1. So, with and without mods, apparently from the get go for Baldur's Gate 3, in combat the game will hang if you reach the end of your available actions. You can't attack, move, end turn, switch characters, you can't save or load a game, or even exit the game from the escape menu. Getting a bug fix for this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I don't know about AD&D, but I really think it should go back to 3.5 rules.
  3. In the D&D supplement I'm writing (and I'm hoping to publish this year, titled Masters of the Dark Dominion) I have a feat that reintroduces Gestalt builds to 5e in a new way. It reads as follows: "If you take this feat, choose one other class, you gain all class abilities form this class as if it were your main class, and you level this class parallel to your main class. You start this class at level one, regardless of what level you have obtained in your main class when taking this feat. You may not take a class of the same type as your main class. (E.g. If you're a Sorcerer you can't take Wizard or Warlock, but you can take Cleric, Druid, Ranger, Bard, or any martial class. If you're a Rogue you can't take Monk, Ranger, or Barbarian, but you can take Paladin, Cleric, Bard, etc). You can take this feat multiple times, each time acquiring a different class." I think this'd be a great feat addition for the game and help to fix the mutliclassing levelling issue, at least as an alternative. I'd make this as a mod myself, but I have no idea where to begin or how to mod BG3. My modding experience is mostly with Minecraft.
  4. I was wondering if anyone had looked into recreating some of the more interesting buildings from FO76 for Fallout 4? I'd love to see the tall apartment buildings like Hornwright Estates made available in FO4. I'd also love to see a build kit for buildings like Top of the World.
  5. New Problem: I can't download from Nexus Mods website. The Download doesn't start or get sent to Vortex...Edit: Toggling the "handle nexus files" button seems to have fix this issue. Edit 2: I was too quick to judge, even doing this Vortex will not handle incoming downloads. I'm downloading manually until a fix is figured out as I know i'm not the only one facing this problem.

  10. Vortex chews up GPU, but my ssd utilization drops off after 10 minutes and I can't bring Vortex to the forefront. The other thing is, when I look at the folder it's copying stuff over to, it's clearly finished after 10 minutes, it just doesn't finalize and bring up the GUI for the program. It's like it's getting stuck in the initial migration setup process and then loops.

  12. Okay; I get the Vortex logo but no load bars. It just sits there on screen. I can't tab to it and the icon disappears from the taskbar. The only two indicators that it is running is the Vortex logo and the three Vortex processes running in the Task Manager. It also seems to be the case the new Vortex wiped out all of my Skyrim SE mods from the old Skyrim SE folder I had from the old Vortex, but it seems to be fine with the Fallout 4 mods. I'm not getting any express error messages, just the warning messages that come after the installation where it says migration is needed. I know for a fact that it takes only about 5 minutes to migrate my mods for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE (yay for M.2 SSDs). So two hours is ridiculously slow.
  13. So 1) I don't know what happened to the other topic I started on this it has seemingly up and disappeared. So sorry for the duplication. 2) I let Vortex run for two hours now and it's simply not working. It starts the migration process and then just continues to do so in the background, for no reason at all. It continually uses around 58% of my CPU power causing my computer to go ragid. If I close out the vortex process and reopen it, it reinitialized the migration process. Basically making it unusable. Any suggestions?
  14. So I downloaded the latest version of Vortex and went to install it. It runs, says there will be a delay as it does stuff without a load bar, and then disappears. Now it's just running in the background chewing up processing power. It's been running like this for half an hour already. What's going on?

So there are plenty of overhauls that make the Gunners friendly or a full faction, but what I'd like to see made is a mod that allows you to make an alliance between the Gunners and the Minutemen, or even better an make an alliance between the Minutemen and any faction. Having the Gunners join the Minutemen would instantly expand the reach of the Minutemen in game and to me seems like a more realistic part of the whole post-apocalyptic feel of the game.

So, I just finished updating F04 and got some of the CC content, the penthouse (bhouse.esl) the BFG gun, solargun, etc. Before the update my game worked fine, but now when I try to load any save, it crashes immediately after the save loads from the loading screen. I see my character for an instant and then CTD. This is my mod list. I've checked it with Loot and it isn't kicking any errors.   17. So I started digging into this and the meshes and textures for the railroad are all in the Meshes Landscape RailRoads folder. There are whole undamaged sets in it. So arguably all that would be needed to make this work, is to take the unbroken versions, apply navmeshes to them, and then take the train models and apply the same navcontrols linking them to the navmeshes set for the track. The difficulty, I would think, would be making all of the tracks in game cleaned, and to either remove or make the in game trains fixable so they can be used. The other difficulty is programming the trains so they stop at given points where stations can be built. There is also then the issue of adding navmeshes to the trains themselves for passengers, but those could potentially be taken from the vertibird.
  18. If I knew more about creation kit and how to effectively use it I'd take it on, but I'm not even at the stage of building simple objects yet.

  20. So we see trains and tracks all over the Commonwealth. I think it'd be cool if we could get a mod that allowed us to not only fix the train tracks, and clean up the cars, but actually have a train running through the common wealth. A sort of immersive fast travel system that requires us to build and fix up the trains.
  21. So has anyone started to use this, apparently the Creation Kit is now available in the Beta version of the game.
  22. I had a similar problem and I solved it by manually installing Homemaker and its data files into the Fallout4 install directory. Several mods have issues with the virtual store that the current Nexus Mod Manager uses and will not load meshes. The CTD is caused by missing meshes.
