  1. You're on the right track. For armors I'd like to avoid using valuable/rare/one-of-a-kind/hard-to-get/etc. DLC items, especially the gecko-backed leather armor given that it requires going to Zion and killing a ton of geckos to get normally. But yes - those guns would work. I unfortunately forgot to add in the OP the I wanted to avoid melee weapons unless it were possible to add new specialist-type NPCs into the militia; this is because even if they were properly buffed up with the other things, going after fiends with melee weapons besides ones that are OP for them(Super sledges, etc.)would still result in them being mowed over. I'll add that now ^^;;
  2. So, I run IWS and FOOK. Because of this, Westside is surrounded by Fiends, a good number of which with better stats and armor than those in the vanilla game. Said Fiends tend to wander into Westside and engage the local militia, whom they mow over and follow into town. From there, half of the town practically gets massacred until I help. Quite the waste of life, no? Backstory aside, here's my request/issue. The Westside Militia are totally underequipped in the vanilla game - they only spawn with leather armor and single shotguns. Haven't seen anything else out of them. Weak. What I'd like to see done is someone make them a bit stronger in order to compete with the Fiends, perhaps via some leveled lists or something. I'd like their health/stats increased slightly, as well as the chance for them to spawn with different things besides leather armor and single shotguns. I'd like their equipment to be good, but not great - if they're given combat armor or better, you've gone too far. Weapons I'm not quite as sure on. Try to keep things less powerful than a trail carbine, I suppose. However, if a minor explosive weapon or two was added, that would be alright(I.E. grenade rifle). That's all - What do you guys think? EDIT: I'd also like to avoid melee weapons unless a new specialist NPC can be added to spawn as part of the Westside Militia; I doubt their stats are geared towards melee as they are, and even if they were buffed up, they'd need at least reinforced metal armor and a bumper sword to take on the Fiends(some of whom have plasma rifles, remember) and have hope to come out alive. They'd need way too strong of armor and weapons to make sense for a militia to be of any good, so they'd be better off sticking to guns.
  3. Interesting responses I'm getting here... I think I'll enable all these DLCs that are off but somehow functional, then wait a few days ingame and see if the vendors change at all. Strange that this brings up more questions than answers.
  4. Hm. Odd, all the GRA attachments as well as Bozar have shown up. The other DLCs are working flawlessly...I'll play around a bit, nut now I'm really lost ^^;;
  5. I've got a few mods, and noticed that I've many of the GRA weapons that would normally be sold from Gun Runners aren't available. I started a new game, and am somewhere around level 30, yet things like Two-Step-Goodbye and Medicine stick are not showing up. I will give more information upon request, but I'm rather unsure what else to put here as I'm pretty new to modding New Vegas. Thanks in advance. :smile: EDIT: Bozar has appeared and I've purchased it. GRA weapon mods appear as well; baseball bat mods, katana mods, etc... http://imageshack.com/scaled/large/577/0g8g.png Oh, and if you caught any load order, etc. mistakes that are really bothering you, I'm open to change there as well :wink:
