  1. Amnesia was the only game that scared me, and I've been a gaming addict/hardcore gamer since the 80s. I literally played the entire game with my character crouching and moving slowly just because I didn't want to bump into one of those weird monsters by accident lol! I love Amnesia as far as horror games go. I hope the modding toolkit would already be released so we can make our own missions and give the game a horror flavor. Oblivion and Skyrim had nothing that scared me.
  2. Although it's nice to see Steam trying to incorporate the availability of user created mods into the delivery system, let's not forget that Steam is a very big company, and big companies will always have those restrictions on what you can and cannot share. For example, what if somebody made an Iron Man armor mod? It looks exactly like Iron Man's costume, colors, details, all that. I have a feeling that Steam won't be making this available to everyone due to possible legal concerns. Yes, mods that people make for fun will always be judged according to the legality of the material. It's not just legal matters that will be taken into account, but morality as well. Think about Nude Mods and Killable Children mods. Will Steam have the balls to carry those mods and deliver them to interested people? I don't think so because from a big company's point of view, it's a scandal waiting to blow up. In my personal opinion, sure, let Steam have the ability to deliver mods, but I wouldn't be using Steam to get the mods or search around. I'd be going to sites like Skyrim Nexus and others for mods that don't care about legality or morals. I want to experience mods as the creators intended them to be, not how Steam (or whoever holds the delivery system) needs you to follow their rules for your mod.

  4. Ideally it would be like how full the streets in the Assassin's Creed games are. In that game, there's usually more than 10 or 20 people on screen at once and only seems to have fewer people at night.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion! I guess the next thing I'll want to figure out is how to give my selected npcs "Courage" through the console hehe :)
  6. Hi there! I'm just wondering if there's a way to make NPCs brave and actually fight back. For example, I use the console to give a normally coward civilian a sword. What I'd like him to do is fight back and not run away. Is there some kind of setting in the console to use to make them fight? Thanks in advance
  7. A child named Damien arrives at Ivarstead. Nobody knows where he came from, but they welcome him anyway thinking that he's an orphan. Damien tries to play magician with little Susie, but part of the act is to magically cut Susie in half using the log splitter. Susie thinks it's unsafe and starts running away. Nobody else wants to play with little Damien. What Damien wants, Damien gets, one way or another!
  8. I agree, the ending was a too uninspiring. Actually if you go back to Parthaanux's (or however you spell its name) place after the spirit of the heroes who fought with you are done cheering, you'll see a bunch of dragons flying around and they're speaking in their language, something about Alduin (probably Alduin's dead, no more mothercrapper to be afraid of, go live in peace!). There's just no real celebration. It's like the people don't even know you just saved not just their lives, but the entire existence of your world! I really would have appreciated if mages all lined up and fired magic in the sky to create fireworks for me. I really would've liked it if the Greybeards starting singing songs about me, the heroic Dragonborn. It would really have been nice if I had the choice of becoming ruler of the entire place and finally unite all the warring groups. It would also have been awesome if the love partner I have in the game shows up and says "You're so heroic, please have my children NOW!". Or...I could be evil after the celebration! Just imagine after killing Alduin, I decided to take over the spirit world and make the spirits my slaves. Then I use them as my own personal army, they can't say no to my orders. After going back to the friendly dragon's place and hearing them talk about Alduin and praising me, I'd say "Oh no wait just a second, I'm not done yet with my dragon slaying activities!" then start killing all of the dragons celebrating with my army of dead heroes. Then as I reach the ground below, the magicians and Greybeards singing me praises will get attacked by my spirit army, and the whole world will learn to fear me. The two clashing groups would once again work together to fight me, their fake hero, but I'll play mind games with them and tell them "If you kill the other, you'll receive great rewards and live in peace under my reign!". In the end, they both kill each other while I laugh as their children are haunted by my army of spirits! Bhwahahahh!
  9. The problem with DRMs that relies on constant stable net connection is that when you suddenly, for some reason, have no net access, you will never be able to play your legitimately bought games until you get your net connection fixed. This is why I dislike DRMs that rely on net connection. Especially in my case, there are times when the net connection just dies for no apparent reason. I get stuck with boredom at nights without the ability to play the games that I paid for. Not all DRMs are horrible, but those that force you to be on the net constantly are the ones I despise because they're saying "If you have no net connection, you can't play the game you just bought!". They better come up with another kind of DRM that will let players enjoy the games with or without net connection. As a consumer, it's not our priority or obligation to think about how they can properly secure their games from being pirated. What we're supposed to be concerned about is if we're having fun with the game, if it works properly on our machines, and if we can play them without being hindered by anything at all. As consumers, we have the right to air out our wishes and complaints. We're not the DRM techies, we're gamers, we're not supposed to worry about their security issues. If their security methods are destroying our fun or stops us from playing the games we paid for, then there is an ugly problem that should be solved, and how to solve it, it's all up to them.
  10. After playing through the game as a heroic character, I decided it's time to create a truly evil one! Remember, fantasy is not reality  Skyrim Evil Bastard: After a dragon's attack on Helgen, a good man helps a prisoner escape, not knowing that this prisoner actually deserves to die for many reasons.
  11. Hi there! I was playing around with spawning characters for fun and creating chaos for the little people of the town I'm terrorizing. I checked some wiki for the baseid of characters, and only some of them had it. I had to get the others myself. I wanted some Dwarven Centurions" so I typed in -> help "dwarven centurion" 0. It gave me a few results but they all seem the same. From what I know, there are different versions of each character like if you type in help "wolf" 0 you'll get some for the normal wolf and also the spirit guardian wolf. Anyway, it's all good until I reloaded the game. I used the bat file that I placed my command for spawning so that I wouldn't have to type in the entire baseid of dwarven centurion and instead I can just type in -> bat dcenturion. This used to work, but in the reloaded game, instead of dwarven centurion, some kind of witch spawned! I reloaded the game again and it's another creature that got spawned this time! It seems that whatever result I got was not the real one for dwarven centurions. For other creatures such as the giants, dragons, and children, the id I got always worked perfectly. When I type in bat boys a bunch of little kids pop up around me, same goes for giants and dragons. I'm just wondering how come the supposed baseid I got for dcenturion and even werewolves spawn different creatures for each time I reload. I wonder if that's even the "true" baseid. Well thanks for any advice and solution
  12. I've been playing around with the setessential command and I found out that some people still can't die, like the Courier and the first Jarl that you meet. However, I also found out some strange things. Here's what I did. Experiment 1: 1. Got out of Helgen with Hadvar and went to the first town with him. 2. I used "setessential (whatever Hadvar's baseid is) 0" so that Hadvar would become mortal. The console accepted this, no errors. 3. Hadvar started talking to his uncle, I decided to attack Hadvar but he didn't die, he just knelt down and continued to talk with his uncle. I thought that Hadvar might be one of those guys who's immortal no matter what you do, just like the Courier. I tried another experiment. Experiment 2: 1. I loaded up the game I saved just when we got out of the cave to escape Helgen. 2. I immediately used "setessential (whatever Hadvar's baseid is) 0" to make him mortal. 3. I used my dual swords to attack him from behind and I ended up killing him by stabbing through him (fatality move). 4. The quest about talk to his uncle failed. 5. I was still able to go to the first town and talk to his uncle and he simply asked about who I was. The story progressed and he gave me the mission to go to Whiterun. It seems that the game was prepared for a scenario of Hadvar dying even before he reached the first town. The uncle was interrogating me about how I knew Hadvar, but he didn't ask what happened to him. The story just went on. From what I've noticed, it seems that if certain characters are in the middle of performing a script, like Hadvar talking to his uncle, they'll still be invincible and just kneel if you try to kill them even after setting them to become mortal. In Hadvar's case, if you set him as a non-essential character before reaching town, you'll actually be able to kill him. I really wonder how you can make everyone mortal. I really want to kill that courier and everyone else as an evil character out of prison
  13. set decapitationchance to <0-100> Sets decapitation chance Sets chance for decapitation. Value ranges between 0-100. set killmoverandom to <0-100> Sets finishing move chance Sets chance for finishing moves. Value ranges between 0-100. The above works nicely for me. The thing is, finishing moves/decapitations only happen when there's one enemy left (as far as I've experienced). For example, I spawned around 25 bandits and I was using my 300K+ damage great sword for one hit kills. The animations didn't work until I only had one bandit left. As an example to prove that realization, I started spawning bandits one by one. Indeed, finishing moves happened all the time! When I tried to spawn 2 bandits, the first guy I killed just died normally while the second guy was the one who got decapitated. What we need to figure out is how to tell the game to let us perform these fatalities all the time on everyone, and not just on the last guy standing
  14. I like the idea of having to romance someone before they finally give in. Maybe we'll see how a "Dragonborn" was made.
  15. As an experiment, I spawned 25 Dorthes and 25 Frondos (or whatever his name is) in the first town. I also spawned 6 dragons, 2 ice types, 2 fire types, and 2 Alduins. They all attacked the town. The adult fighters can get burned and hurt, but the kids didn't get hurt at all. It's like the dragon attacks were just passing through them. As another experiment, I spawned a bunch of skeletons that used ice magic. They were able to hurt the kids. It seems that there's something preventing dragon attacks from hurting the kids even if everything else can already kill them, hopefully someone will be able to fix this because my heroic character wants to save kids from getting killed by dragons, but the way it is now it's a pointless effort.
  16. Thanks! I just spawned 5 giants at the very beginning of the game when somebody's head was just about to get chopped off while I was playing as a kid! The soldiers battled with the giants and eventually won, then the script continued, it was awesome lol! I'm gonna have lots of fun with this causing trouble in towns :D
  17. Hi there! I recently saw someone make a vid where he spawned a bunch of dragons. I tried looking for the command to know how to spawn npcs but I can't seem to find the info, maybe I'm looking at the wrong place. Can someone please tell me how to spawn npcs, and maybe a list of values/names of npcs I can spawn? Thanks a lot :)
  18. Yup, all the DRM does is make problems for people who actually bought the game. People who use the "Try Before You Buy" method will still have all the patches later on, minus the problematic DRMs. I really wonder why they even bother with DRMs at all when it only really affects people who already paid for the game, and very negatively at that. I think they need to concentrate more on fixing bugs and glitches instead of "strengthening" an already non-existent wall.
  19. Oh ok hmm in that case I'll just rid the towns of its population, leaving the killable children alive just to watch them live their lives from day to day without parents. I wish my evil character would be able to say "Are you hungry? Learn to cook!" lol :woot:
  20. Hi there! I just need to know if I use a mod so that all characters can die, would important people such as quest givers or enemies/heroes respawn after a few game days if I kill them for fun? I'm just thinking of creating an evil character who just wants to destroy towns and everything else and I hope to see towns re-populated after a couple of days. Thanks again :)
  21. They also need to inherit the properties of other normal characters, like having the ability to use weapons, wear different armor/clothes, and of course, die.
  22. Hi there! I love the game's finishing moves! Unfortunately, they rarely happen. I remember the first time I stabbed the bear in the first area with a great sword, that made me smile a lot. Then I discovered that you can decapitate people as well when you level up some two-handed sword skills! Too bad it only goes up to 25% chance. Can someone please make some mods where these "fatalities" will happen more often? Maybe like versions with 100% chance, 75% chance, 50% chance, 25% chance. Thanks in advance
  23. Hi there! I'd like to request a mod where every person and creature in Skyrim can die. Yes, this includes children, animals, and whatever else. I want my character to be careful when trying to fight enemies in populated areas as a hero so that he wouldn't accidentally kill civilians, but it would be ridiculous if he used a massive fireball or whatever magic attack and everybody died on the spot except for the kids. As a villain, I'd like to play as a cold-hearted monster trapped in the body of a man who has no moral bounds such as that of the common man, ready to strike anyone just for being on his path, may they be friends, foes, or children alike. Thanks in advance
