  1. Nevermind, figured it out. If there is a delete thread button tho, I can't find it.
  2. Thanks and nevermind, found it. Dagri'Lon from Interesting NPC's.
  3. Nexus, and yes a custom voice.
  4. I'm looking for a follower or companion. I'm pretty sure he has no head and speaks with a deep disembodied voice. Fully voice acted, very well done, from what I remember. I'm playing Skyrim for the first time in many months. I can't find a save with this guy, and if he's in my mod list, I don't see it. He could be part of a pack or standalone. If you know the mod I'm talking about, please let me know!:)
  5. Sometimes, when re positioning something in Nifskope, it is not in the same position in game. IE; A skirt attached to armor. Also, how do I tell something, say a dagger, to "attach" to a certain body part? I can move it wherever I like, but in game, when I move, the dagger moves around as if it's attached to my shoulder instead of my hip. These problems are separate(I think). Can someone tell me how to fix these, or point me to whatever guide or tutorial part I'm missing?
  6. I have the same problem as Captain Nemo. I also downloaded and replaced the nif.xml. Any ideas, anyone?
  7. I was having some trouble with Nifskope, so I reinstalled. I downloaded the nif.xml as usual and put it in the installation folder. Whenever I load a .nif, I get a message like this... ""invalid array size for array" "Extra Data List"" ""array Extra Data List invalid"" ""device position incorrect after block number 31 (BSLightingShaderProperty) at 0x6db5f ended at 0x6db67 (expected 0x6dbc7)"" I get a similar message when I try to save. Whether it's an untouched skyrim .nif or one I've edited, I get these messages. How can I fix this?
  8. How do I remove this? I added alpha to the armplates on the Thives Guild Armor, yet they have a shadow, or I'm not sure what. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7167/6476148955_7e1fceeb3d.jpg
  9. I like these ideas, especially Way of the Coin. Finally, some influence!
  10. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7167/6476148955_7e1fceeb3d.jpg I removed the armor pieces on the arms of the Thieves Guild armor, yet their shadow is still there. It can only be seen at certain angles(most of them) and it's very annoying. What do I need to do to remove this?
  11. I played Morrowind for a long time. I had it on X-Box, so no mods for me. I've played Skyrim for not so long and it is already stale, and I likely won't play it much until there are some serious mods out there. Morrowind had character, and that's been pointed out in many ways here. Skyrim, to me, does not. Very few enemy types, the overall design is cheesy and unimaginative in my opinion. Like, the dragons look pretty good, but they look like cheesy regular old dragons, and aside from texture, they all look very similar. I was wowed by a bull netch once, but not these dragons. The characters are very bland and I like many could go on for longer than anyone cares to read. I think Skyrim was hastily made and hyped for some quick cash, in a sweatshop where no one has ever heard of Elder Scrolls. Overall, Skyrim has a very casual, pick up and play feel, in comparison to it's predecessors. Little thinking is required, your hand is held, you're pushed along. Some people like that, I do not. I loved the, what the hell is going on?, feeling Morrowind instilled. Dovahkiin, "Some guys made me yell at dragons. What do you do?" Nerevarine, "I don't even know where to begin..."
  12. Could someone please add the torso belts(bandoliers/stomach belts/pouches) from Linwe's/Thieves guild armor to these clothes? I believe it's farm clothes 3. I've tried myself, but I can't get it to work. If anyone would be willing to do this, I'd like it as a replacement for Linwe's armor. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7141/6463573491_f996491db7.jpg
  13. They'd be cannibals if they ate other vampires.... anyway I was a vampire who also ate people. I cured the vampirism, I still eat people. Thanks, Namira. Vampires in puffy shirts hanging around mansions being snooty is a pretty recent thing, given how long the vampire myth has been around.
  14. With firearms came the bulletproof cuirass. It was a simple layered modification. It would be cool to have that as a smithing option along with the guns.
  15. I love Sheogorath, but I wouldn't want to be him again. A longer, more involved quest from him, and the other Daedra, would be nice. Something like Daggerfall, where a Daedra Prince wouldn't just see anyone.
  16. Everyone in Skyrim is too cool to care. I've killed dragons in towns, and people act as if nothing happened. I'm on my second play through, and taking it very slow, ignoring the MQ as much as it let me. I'm having a lot more fun not worrying about Alduin.
  17. I didn't even know this part of the game existed until after I beat the main quest. I just did the whole "end game" through Paarthunax. No peace talks. Hope I don't miss that bit next time.
  18. I'm pretty sure you could find Umbra(the sword) in Oblivion. Either way, I need to read that book!
  19. Installed it, very nice! I'll be damned if it doesn't look better. I spawned 20 dremora churls and 2 frost dragons at an imperial camp to see if there would be any lag, and it was smooth the whole time. No water bug here.
  20. I'd say a furry is a strange type of person who may or may not dress up like a mascot. Khajiit is are a very defined and specific thing. I don't think of them a furrys at all.
  21. Your character is transported to a library of sorts that has elder scrolls, and a mysterious type librarian quest-giver, who would let you read them and "go back in time" and re-live some Elder Scrolls history. Maybe things like Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, not the whole games, just major plot points. And/or other things that have never been done. Fight alongside Gaiden Shinji, for example. I can't be the only one who's ever wanted to do that one! In these quests, you would be secondary. Playing the part of someone who was there, or could have been, but no one of extreme importance. They would also be purely for fun. I think the experience would be it's own reward.
  22. I like the Jarl idea better, but I'm sure I could have fun with either.
  23. Look at what most people in Skyrim do. They stand, or take a short walk and stand somewhere else, soemtimes they sit. Someone is bound to put on some weight.
  24. I generally dislike anime, but that doesn't matter. For me it's mostly the crap dialogue anyway. Plenty of people love it, there will be anime-style mods aplenty, and no one will be forced to use them. There will be all sorts of mods that do not make sense in the Elder Scrolls universe.
