  1. thank god its not just me noticing this! you just can't please mod users these days without a dlc quality mod.
  2. I have some issue with the CK and a message pops up saying that if I reinstall teh CK then it might solve the issue. Im just concerned that if I reinstall the CK that it could possibly get rid of mods ive been working on. So if i reinstalled it should i be safe?
  3. simple enough question, what is the name of the default land texture that the entire map has when you first make a new world?
  4. i cant find the exploding cars and barrels and etc. what catagory are they under and what is the symbol next to them?
  5. PROBLEM SOLVED there was a blank dialogue line that screwed everything up
  6. well I went into fo4edit and nothing quest or voice related was changed, I uninstalled the mod and launched the game and dialogue was normal, went out, reactivated the mod, went back in and speech was screwed up again...so..... at this point if anyone wants to go the extra mile ill literally send you the esp so you can look at directly
  7. well I checked and I didn't have the prevent player from exit dialogue checked anywhere, and I rechecked for probably the tenth time and everyone has their getisid in all of the dialogue. I'm 99% sure its just something woith that one quest because I went to every npc in game in the mod and they could all talk. then I wentr back into the geck, created that quest, then went back into the game and the quest giver is the only npc whos dialogue triggers. like I said he has all of the getisid so unfortunately that's not it. id be happy to send pictures I just need to know what to post exactly to help solve this
  8. i made a quest and it works perfectly, but after i made the quest all the other npcs in the game wont talk except for the npc who gives the quest and same mod. companions can only bring up first dialouge scene but when you click on one of the 4 options the scene ends without them saying anything. i went into the quest and made the speaker for all the quests dialouge the npc who is supposed to be talking, made the forced alias the npc's alias, and got the getsisid for the npc who is supposed to be speaking under conditions. im very knew to this so i dont know what else to try so PLEASE HELP!!
  9. I cant get one of the npcs in my mod to talk. He has his own voice type and everything Seddon did in his tutorial i did i have spent hours going over just the videos alone to make sure i did everything how im supposed to exactly and i have gotten plenty of NPCs to talk already. If anyone has any ideas what it might be, it's PROBABLY not a common issue, but please id appreciate some help Also his dialouge is supposed to start a quest if that helps and the quest didnt have any compilation errors in the creation kit Also SUBTITLES ARE ON AND I HAVE THE NPC AS THE SPEAKER IN THE GREETING TOPIC INFO AND THE GETISID FOR THE ACTOR IS IN THE CONDITIONS

  12. hello everyone, i have started modding recently and i have fallen in love with it. i made a new lands/dungeon mod called Hartford CT Concrete Jungle. i was happy with how it came out but i am now trying to make a more complicated mod with mulitple quest and i have an idea for 2 different possible endings. But unfortuately I have found scripting and quest making much more difficult than level and npc design, and i have run into scripting errors that i, nor anyone else, seems to know how to be able to fix. I would love to have someone more scripting experience to help make the mod. if anyone would be interested in joining me id be happy to discuss the mod in more detail and how to go about doing this.
