  1. I would really love to see Geralt's sword combat animations brought to Skyrim. I think he has a unique and very agile style with how he fights. Specially when he kind of twirls around when attacking with his sword. You can probably even do the same animations for both 1 and 2 handed ones since he holds the sword with 1 hand but uses both when striking. I think it would look awesome and would make my Witcher playthrough complete if ever this is made. More so now that the FNIS PCEA2 is now available so you can use the animations exclusively only for your character. Here's a link to some of his swordplay for those who are not familiar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z5uVKQ3kag Many thanks!
  2. Oh wow, looking forward to this! Been wanting a decent Iron Man armor for quite some time now. You have my support! PS: Bonus points if you can have a Dwemer retexture of it or maybe something like this as well. Goodluck! http://i59.tinypic.com/2w35doj.jpg
  3. Yes texture files are usually loose files which the last one installed will be the one that is shown in game. Actually, you can make some "tweaking magic" by combining which textures you like and don't like by first installing a mod, then overwriting the parts that you don't like with another mod that you prefer.
  4. How come the DLC2 esp of Immersive Creatures is ahead of the Main esp file in your load order? Try switching it around and see if that helps. Also, make sure you downloaded the right patch for the correct DLC that you have. Curious as to why you don't have update esm though as well. Download BOSS and let it sort your load order. Although, in your case not a priority because you still have a few mods to manage.
  5. I have mostly the same setup as you oc'ed to 4.2 but have a 7970 and play Skyrim on a Samsung SSD. You have to remember that Skyrim has a physical limitation of 3.1 GB of ram. So even if you have a supercomputer with unlimited amounts of memory, if Skyrim reaches it's 3.1 GB limit, you will crash. The trick is to optimize your mods so that you don't hit that limit. If you are new to modding, you should read about SSME, ENboost, Optimizer Textures, Save game script cleaner and finally BOSS for starters. Trust me, these tools will save you a lot of headache and sleepless nights when your mods start to pile up. Specially SSME and ENboost since those tools deal with memory issues. I know it can be very tempting to download those 4K texture mods, I was also like that when I first started out. I advice you not to do it because those textures alone can eat up RAM very fast. I recommend 1K textures for outdoors and 2k textures for indoors and weapons/armors since you're on a 680. The visual difference is negligible and I play on a 24" 1920x1200 resolution monitor. Load order is very important, because it can lead to a lot of crashes as well if you haven't got it right. BOSS can help you with that so research about it if you haven't yet. Lastly, try and avoid script heavy mods as too many can lead to crashes as well and corrupt saves. Examples of these are Footsteps, Wet and Cold, Frostfall to name a few. These are just the things on top of my head atm and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. Modding and fine tuning is a ongoing learning process. Right now, I have 240 mods, most of them textures, city overhauls, population heavy mods and my game is running quite stable. Although, I had to go through a lot of trial and error before reaching this point that's why I hope that I helped you in the right direction at least. Have fun and good luck!
  6. Hi guys, most of the arena mods that I saw are either outdated, unfinished or unstable. Would love to see a new fully functional arena mod to relive the gladiator experience from Oblivion. No need to be "over complicated" at first. Just a nice, solid arena design with spawnable enemies and some cheering npc's would be a good start and let it grow from there. Maybe a better/updated version of this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9380/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D9380%26page%3D3%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D563855&pUp=1 In the future, you can add quests to it and maybe different size arenas for minor/major league cities. Kinda like in the movie Gladiator. Cheers!
  7. Check this out: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41255/? Specifically the Night's Shadow enchantment.
  8. So I just rewatched Thor 2 and I noticed that some of their armor designs were quite cool and could fit into Skyrim. One armor set that I would like to see is Lady Sif's: I could easily see Lydia wearing this one or maybe a stand alone Siff companion would be great as well. Plus, can't deny that Jamie Alexander is just awesome.
  9. The closest thing that I found to the archer/assassin is this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36875/?
  10. Have you tried forwarding another day or so? There are nights when the moon can be pitch black and has nothing to do with compressed textures. Alternatively, you can try downloading a moon retex just to test. Goodluck.
  11. How bout silver bullets? Guarantee it works even better. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26653/?
  12. While waiting, you could try this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50476/? and combine it with this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9222/? That is what I use and it's great. The armors have a deep shine plus they have capes as well. The other mod randomly mixes the armor sets and have several options to choose from. Also, if you have Immersive Armors, the Heroic Imperial Set gets thrown in the mix as well. If you like it maybe you can send some to me.
  13. Try these mods: SCARY SKYRIM RETEXTURE - Fear the Bloodmoon: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4050/? Monster Mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35631/? Skyrim Immersive Creatures: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24913/? Werewolves Occurring Naturally: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22622/? Those are some of the mods I use. You can also try searching for "scary" in the search bar. Good luck!
  14. Hello, First off, I am not a modder but an avid mod user. I would like to learn how to edit an existing mod for personal use. Just simple stuff like changing some armors from NPC mods. For example, Populated Lands, Roads, Paths. I would like to change the wandering knight's armor or the Knight of Faith NPC's to a different armor set, maybe something from Immersive Armors. Do I need CK for this or will TESVedit do? I have no experience with the creation kit and just a little with TESVedit. Thanks.
