  1. "Anything you can do on the current site you should be able to do on the new site. If there's something missing or not working right, we really need to know about it." https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6038813-nexus-mods-redesign-link-inside/ Been going through the website bit by bit. Can no longer open the top images directly from the mod description page via new tab middle click. (it just opens a duplicate page, not the image) Can no longer change global filter settings (like gore) from just changing the mod search filter settings. Can no longer search an empty keyword box (requires at least 3 characters now). Can no longer have the mod search results default to small tiles display. Can no longer view the latest top mods/images/recent mods simultaneously on the front page. (We reeeaally hate the new large sized format which could easily be solved with a scale setting, and please make them all uniform because those two big image tiles look like buck teeth web design wise).
  2. And putting the function to switch between author images and user images for a mod in a menu? Really? All you need is to have just one button to switch between the two. K. I. S. S. Keep it simple silly. It would be better if the whole UI was designed with this in mind. No needless menus, no overly complex UI. The best looking websites follow this principle to the letter.
  3. This new website design looks like it was designed by the people who did windows 10. And not in a good way. Filters from mod searches are no longer applied globally, if you want to turn off certain mods with a tag, you'll have to dig through 2 separate menus to make what should be a simple change. Certain changes in the account settings takes 2-5 seconds to change....for...every...little...item. Overly large graphics decrease the utility of the website. This is a mod search website, not a mod display website, displaying large images from the mod should be reserved for the individual mod pages, not the front page and no one like unnecessarily scrolling through 6 pages of annoyingly large graphics when 2 pages will do. Which brings me to my next point, all those large graphics cause everything to sllllooooow downnnnnn because it has to load every large graphic asset. Which is bad....very bad. Especially for those who have poor connections or are about to because net neutrality is about to go down the drain. The front page and the mod search/display pages show be very lean on graphics so they are more responsive, not bogged down because the website tried to cram in every pixel that it could. It takes about 12 second to switch between the tabs on the front page. This is horrible web design. I am not alone in my conclusions, and even if you dislike what I have to say, the points are still valid. Many companies and organizations have reversed unpopular policies due to public disapproval. Please turn it back, your users/server mainframe/bandwidth and fingers will thank you.

In my experience, malwarebytes catches about 90% of the really nasty stuff but has trouble with that last 10%. Hackers usually use that last 10% most of the time. As for Spybot, well, penicillin used to work really well and then the viruses adapted. I recommend you update your suite.
  6. In response to post #15588350. Worst case scenario, you'll have wipe your hard drive. http://lifehacker.com/can-i-reinstall-windows-on-my-computer-without-the-bloa-1512345361 Remember to take a screen capture of all your installed mods.
  7. As someone who has to deal with hackers frequently, I most certainly can sympathize with this case. However I would like to go further than wishy-washy feelings and actually do something to help. I highly recommend that you all have a good security suite. I like to run Emisoft and Eset. For those who are unwilling to buy the full versions, I recommend Avira and AVAST concurrently with Avira installed first and AVAST installed in compatibility mode with both of them set up to exclude each other in the scans. Emisoft does offer free firewall as well but I haven't tested the latest builds to see if it plays nice with other programs. Proceed at your own risk. Finally, when you have all that installed, reboot your computer in admin network isolated safe mode and do a single scan at a time from all your suites until your system comes up clean. Just to be on the safe side, get a legitimate copy of windows OS and repair your system files. You can usually find the serial key on the side of your computer. You can find authentic ISOs from a third party vendor here: http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-from-digital-river/ Nuke them from orbit, that's the only way you can be sure.
