  1. Basically just the title. I'd like to see a mod come out that changes the way hair and clothing physics behave so that they don't clip into each other. Can't wear Maxon's Battlecoat or a Courser Uniform while wearing a hair style that's long in the back, or else there will be a lot of clipping.
  2. With vanilla and "young" face textures for male and female.
  3. These most likely will only ever happen once the GECK comes out and is used along with an animation program, as these ideas are extremely heavy on the animation (that's the whole point of both) and may or may not change game logic. Fancy VATS: The idea comes from the movie Equilibrium, which introduced Gun Kata (a variation of Gun Fu found in John Woo movies and The Matrix), where the user will take on multiple targets while shooting back at them and dodging incoming fire via acrobatics (and with justification to Fallout, VAEM (vault-assisted evasive maneuvers)). The video game Resonance of Fate, which uses a unique movement and attack system not found in almost any other RPG, has a significant influence in the idea, in where in that video game the player moves the character and plots their attack pattern along the way. Key features are as follows: 1. VATS gains a pathing mechanic, allowing the player to move while shooting in VATS at the cost of additional AP (making Agility and Endurance very important stats to have for this mod). Comes with the ability to dive behind a wall (or anything that can stop a bullet, really), forward and reverse bullet dives (a la Max Payne), and under certain conditions the ability to maneuver around enemies that are in close proximity (for example, vaulting over an enemy while shooting at another). 2. VATS now allows the player to target two or more enemies (depending on weapon type) if their pathing choice allows for it and if they have sufficient AP. 3. Close-ups and sweet shots. Perhaps some ham to go along with it. Fancy Killmoves: Essentially they are animation replacers or simply additions to the current killmoves. While not anywhere close to Fatalities from Mortal Kombat, Fancy Killmoves would feature some, well, fancy and unnecessary kill moves. Ideas as follows: 1. Ranged killmoves, which replaced the Critical Attack's standard behavior. For example, a critical attack on either leg that would normally kill a humanoid enemy will cause the character to shoot the other leg, the finally they finish the job with a final headshot. 2. Double kill Killmoves: Basically a fancy finishing move on two enemies that have low enough health for a kill move. 3. Style points: Essentially the player will earn only bonuses for how they kill enemies, such as an increase in AP recovery rate, or small gains in damage resistance, or even a slight boost to XP gains. "Your thoughts?" - Sole Survivor Comments, criticisms, and suggestions for improvement are always appreciated. And, of course, I will not be making this mod myself since I lack any sort of skill with animation.
  4. I don't like the "traveling orb" projectile thing with the Gamma Gun, both for aesthetic reasons and the stun-lock thing it does. I'd rather those guns spray radiation like the Cryolator sprays its ice.
  5. Yep. At least one for the males. There's over 10 for the females.
  6. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55648/? Having this in NV made first person so much better.
  7. Unfortunately, the Casual Clothes mod has been taken down from Nexus. Below is one of the three outfits in the mod. http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/skydb-mod/imgs/c/0/c007efb8.jpg Well, since that mod is completely gone and my hard drive was wiped, I was left with thousands of armor mods which I simply did not like, save for the Witch Hunter armor from Deadly Trio. I don't care for lore friendly, but I do care for quality and fashion, specifically for the male form. I found a very nice set of outfits I'd like to see be made into mods, but sadly I'm absolutely terrible with Blender and Creation Kit. So, I'm requesting that someone use the following for a image references in a male fashion mod. http://leeuwhondje.tweakdsl.nl/simscc/yuxi-clothing-amshortjacket-swatch.jpg All credit goes to "esperesa" and anyone who helped her in creating the image of the four clothing sets above. I hope this thread will spark at least some interest. In all honesty, there's nothing on Nexus of *site not allowed* that satisfies me as far as clothing and armor design goes.
  8. Juggernaut's fighting style as follows. Idle: Standard sword grip and icepick grip (changes depending on enemy proximity.) Attack animation: Primarily diagonal cuts, one jumping power attack that strikes vertically. Block (made up since Dota 2 has no block animations): Block using both grip types. Special attacks (spells): Blade Fury - Spin to Win Omnislash - Sort of like the Sword Dance mod where the player jumps from one enemy to another, except if there's only one enemy around then the player can attack multiple times while invulnerable. Magic: Healing Ward - Heals over time when standing near a ward. Ward counts as a summon. Passive ability: Blade Dance - increases critical strike chance.
  9. The running animation in New Vegas is just a jog. It's not an actual run. Even with the sprint mods out there, it's just a sped-up jog. This is just a request for any of you wonderful animators to create an animation mod that makes all actors actually run and sprint rather than jog.
  10. I can see how the ones you said simply cannot happen. However, for Bloody Mess, it unfortunately doesn't actually turn an entire body into nothing but red mist. I never thought about parallax mapped bullet holes, but that sounds like a good idea. Granted that I have no idea how parallax actually works, I know what it looks like. I just thought that it was dumb that we could tell Doc Mitchel "swiss cheese" and it doesn't currently exist with body wounds. My bad on bisection. I thought that cutting the torso from the waist and splitting someone down the middle had two different terms. As far as I can tell you're right about how bisection would work if someone actually did it, and it may cause performance issues because of extra actors simply spawning in and taking up more resources. So the list of additional gore effects left are: 1. Stab wounds and bullet hole wounds (via parallax mapping) 2. Scorched bodies (via shaders) 3. Exploding into small pieces of debris.
  11. After seeing the Deadly Mutilation mod for Skyrim I came to thinking about New Vegas: What if New Vegas got a similar mod? Is it even possible with the Gamebryo engine? And if it is, how much work would have to go into it? Logically this wouldn't work on anything but vanilla bodies and other supported armor and clothing mods, and it wouldn't work on custom body mods like the Cyborg race unless those were supported by the mod. I imagine it'd be a very huge project that would take a very long time. Fallout 4 may make it on the market before a Deadly Mutilation mod for New Vegas would be made. So, despite all of that, what kind of additional gore effects would we be getting? Here's my list of things that could be added on. 1. Partially blown-off faces 2. Big hole or holes in the chest 3. Stab wounds (assuming modders create new melee animations and combat mechanics.) 4. Scorched/melted body parts. 5. Bisection 6. Diced to bits (a la Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) 7. Nut shots with reactions to go with them. 8. Blown-off breasts. 9. Split down the middle 10. Partially sliced off head. 11. Body explosion (as in the whole body goes boom) Yes, this is a very morbid idea. But hey, it's a guilty pleasure and made Skyrim a lot more fun combat wise. Sure, Fallout 3 and New Vegas have the most gore out of the games on Nexus, but what about taking it a step further? Anyway, this is pretty much a "what if" thread. Probably already exists on multiple occasions. People have already been pushing the Gamebryo engine to its very limits anyway and this may completely break it if people attempted to develop and use this type of mod.
  12. I knew there was a catch. Thanks, though. I appreciate it!
  13. http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/scale_small/17/171291/2479627-cojgunslinger.jpg Someone make this armor mod. I'm surprised it already hasn't been made yet.
  14. So I looked through forum topics from 2011 and saw that even in the vanilla game red triangles were showing up. They were showing up even on the console version of the game. Well, I'm experiencing them. I haven't always, but when I upgraded my computer to have an actual graphics card I could start running ENBs in my games. It wasn't until I got ENBs installed that I started getting them, and they always start appearing after five minutes of gameplay. Electro City light posts that are not in my immediate vicinity are replaced with red triangles. Same thing happens to pretty much every loose prop like toxic barrels, cars, fire hydrants, trash cans, etc. So I was wondering if there was an issue of too many things to render at once and not enough memory to render them any more. Of course, those triangles go away when I restart the game but new ones always pop up after five minutes of gameplay. I never got them when I wasn't using ENBs and I never got them when I was using my old integrated graphics chip. I also installed the ENB memory patch too. Same result occurs but frame rates are better. My specs: NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M (2 gig VRAM) 6 gigs RAM Windows 8 Intel Core i5 (dual core) Note: I've enabled Archive Invalidation and my Fallout_default.ini and fallout.ini are not set to read only. When they are set to read only my Breeze body replacer acts all funny.
  15. Hello animation modders. I'm currently wanting to get my hands on a mod that changes attack animations. I don't like the vanilla attack animations for one-handed weapons and would like to have them changed. I recently picked up the Male Animation Improvement mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29649/? and really liked the reverse hold on the sword featured in the mod. http://static2.nexusmods.com/110/mods/110/images/29649-1-1357888023.png However, the rest of the mod isn't finished and it doesn't seem like it's being worked on anymore. What I'm really looking for are attack animations that are actual melee combos. In fact what I really want is a direct animation port from GunZ 2's Silent Avenger. Of course if it's not possible to make a direct port of it, I'd really like something similar to it. Additionally for the tank play style I'd like to see animations like these. If anybody is actually interested in doing these animations I'd be extremely grateful. I do not have the skill to do any of this myself even though I've gone through animation tutorials and have animation editors. Any questions or comments about this mod request will be answered here or in PMs.
