[not sure if everything broke or not so if this is up twice sorry about that] ================================================================ introduction of new damage type "necrotic damage" effect- damages health and health cannot be regenerated for an amount of time based off of your destruction skill resistances- undead take half damage, automatons take no damage, noone is particularly weak to it but like shock it has high magic cost and high base damage. skills/ perks- half scaling but scales with both conjuration and destruction. [perks] reaper's intent - (first rank) necrotic spells deal 25% more damage (second rank) 50% more death's embrace- if a target's health drops under a percentage equal to half your level (max 80%) it dies. [spells] schwartz welle (black wave)- fires a gout of black necrotic energy that deals 9 points of damage per second (cost 20/sec) (color swapped frostbite spell to black for appearance) death bolt- fire a small bolt of necrotic energy that deals 30 points of damage (cost 60) (color swapped fire bolt for appearance) death rune- place a magical trap that explodes when stepped on dealing 55 necrotic damage (cost 80) (color swapped rune base with deadric letter "D" in the center) withering mist- exhale a cloud of black mist that deals 45 points of necrotic damage to all enveloped in it (cost 160) (uses recolored dwarven centurion steam attack hit box and appearance) reaper's cloak- for 60 seconds all targets in melee range take 10 points of necrotic damage per second (cost 370) (color swapped poison cloak for appearance) wrath- 70 points of necrotic damage (cost 355) (either recolored fireball without explosion, recolored unrelenting force, or for the ambitious a shrunk down to half size and recolored dragon soul absorption effect for appearance) black wake- leave a wall of black mist on the ground that deals 60 points of necrotic damage per second to all that touch it (unsure of the visuals on this one perhaps the frost wall effect recolored to black with the icicles removed) wail of the banshee- loose an unholy shriek sundering the life of all who hear it dealing 150 necrotic damage. any target that falls under 50% HP when hit by this spell dies (cost 900) (uses fire storm's hitbox and has no particle effect possibly uses a slowed down version of the shout animation)
  2. i was wondering about this too. when i make a new build i often wonder to myself "what would their spouse have been like if they had survived?" this has led to me creating an overarching multiverse head canon for fallout 4. for example my first and main build is a railroad and minutemen energy weapons sniper named "Eva Schwartz" while the build i made after that is a full brotherhood of steel power armor and heavy weapons build named "Danger Schwartz" and he was created because i asked myself the question"what if Eva had died to Kellogg instead?" and i kept using that logic for all of my builds. as a result the ability to carry these builds across save files would be VERY interesting to me.
  3. bethesda amazes me at times with how stupid they can be they have been making games with guns for over 10 years now and yet they still dont understand basic firearm safety to be exact the first rule of firearm safety NEVER FOR ANY REASON STAND IN FRONT OF SOMEONE WHO IS OPERATING A FIREARM! despite this being one of the simplest rules imaginable right down to it being naturally occurring through survival instincts every companion in the game feels the insatiable need to lunge forward into your line of fire the instant you pull the trigger. which is why i propose this AI change if an actor has their ranged weapon drawn and pointed forward all other actors will do all in their power NOT to stand in front of them! i simply cannot understand why this was not vanilla all of the resources required to program this behavior are there actors DO acknowledge that your weapon is drawn they DO take cover if you aim down sights and are hostile so why cant friendly NPCs understand that i am pointing a gun at something and not to f*#@ing block me!? just today i was sneaking up on some gunners with a missile launcher drawn pointed at them and looking down sights at them and just as i was pulling the trigger dumbf*#@ mcgee sprints! not walks. not runs. f*#@ING SPRINTS! into my line of fire causing the missile to hit them at point blank range killing us both. they left sneak mode and sprinted into the shot! AND THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE!!! IM DAMN f*#@ING SURE THAT PIPER HAS TAKEN AT LEAST HALF AS MANY PLASMA ROUNDS AS EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER KILLED!!! i should not have to be here ON A MODDING SITE for this it should be f*#@ing vanilla but NNNOOOOOO!! bethesda cant do even the simplest thing right!
  4. i have a fix for fallout4's nuka world campaign.make the quest power play happen BEFORE home sweet home.you claim all of nuka world. gauge tells you to talk to shank and on your way over you are interrupted by one on the raider gangs rebelling.you put down the rebelling gang and start up the power plant getting the reward perks and items BEFORE invading the commonwealth and having the minutemen turn on you.from there it is your choice to either continue home sweet home and be a raider warlord or to begin open season and betray the raiders maintaining your standing with the minutemen and your settlements.the lore is not broken. the DLC has a "good" option that's worth doing. everyone wins.
  5. a radio station that works like self radio in GTA5 where there is a folder that you put MP3 files in that converts them to a usable format then adds them to a randomized playlist ingame. and if someone interested in a more complete radio experience comes along i will offer to voice the radio host myself i can see it now. . . Welcome back to madman radio with your mentally unsound host... ME! ... this just in! im not wearing any pants! back to the music. *music plays* welcome back my lice and bullet riddled children! now gather round! its news time! it seems the raiders now have a nice new bullseye that crawled its way out of vault 111! lets hope whatever valt-tec was doing down there hasnt driven them too crazy! we all remember the stories about that puppet guy after all right. . .
  6. simply put as a lab coat when wearing it with rank 3 nerd rage you hulk out at 50% HP that can be found in the arcjet systems thruster test room near the junk jet and mad janitor scientist's holotape. as a perk it requires you to have rank 3 nerd rage and to be wearing a lab coat or vault-tec lab coat the perk can be gained from a book on shaun's desk with the undamaged pre war book texture titled "Focused Psychologics: Anger" its a small but fun mod what do you all think?
  7. a new grenade at the crafting station that has all of the same requirements as regular plasma grenades but they stick to targets like the ones in halo. they could use the damage type of plasma grenades as in an explosion of physical damage followed by an intense burn of energy damage with a nice blue version of the molotov explosion animation and particle effect. as for texturing and model they can either be a recreation of the halo version of the grenade or even a blue and silver recolor of vanilla plasma grenades. im not sure in there are any scripts in the game that could be used to make the grenade stick to the target then wait a good 3-5 seconds before blowing up that could be used so they may have to be made from scratch. i just think this is a really cool idea that would noticeably increase the tactical possibilities of hand delivered explosive payloads in this game. i know they were always my favorite in the halo series. as for lore possibilities. you could find the blueprints for them in maybe gorski cabin where you get the mininuke pieces or perhaps in the institute maybe cricket could be selling them or even the dead scorched remains of a mad bomber waster that you find with a holotape on a table next to the blueprints explaining what these grenades are and why they were made.
  8. im having an issue with power of the atom. i blew up megaton but mr burke just stands there saying "youre ruining the moment" and i did not get xp or karma loss of a complete prompt for the quest. it just disappears from my journal
  9. for fallout4??? Yes. that is very good news. in my opinion that mod has never been more called for especially since fallout4 takes place in the commonwealth where androids are a much more common occurrence also where is this image share? i cannot find it.
  10. the current interest is resurrecting some dead mods into fallout4. where project nevada still has its very capable team they likely do not require my assistance. i made this post in hopes to either reach a group that is resurrecting the daughters of aries mod or to inspire the formation of one as that mod was dropped and made open to the community. on another note. what you wrote was very well thought out and inspiring as f*#@ and i happen to be an excellent spinner of yarns so i may use fallout4 to get into actual modding as a writer of stories and lore for the more capable community members it is good to see people still eager to help others.
  11. with fallout4 11 days 3 hours 1 minute and 40 seconds away at the time i write this i find myself looking forward to the complete and utter destruction of my social life in my near future but i also find myself wondering about the twilight years and the after party can we expect to see any of our old favorites returning to the modding community will there be a project boston or dare i say *giddy squeal* daughters of aries return i would very much hope so and if anyone is planning to do so i with my complete lack of skill, resources, and limited time will do anything in my power that can be done to assist.
  12. mask of the father - increase load by 30 points giant armor \ gauntlets \ boots - 30% resist all elements grass crest shield - increase stamina regeneration by 100% +5 chaos 2hander - deals 100 points of fire damage guaranteed stagger and can hit multiple targets new spell black flame - a black fiery explosion in front of the caster that deals 70 points fire damage and 30 points physical damage within 8 feet profit!
