  1. Check my steps in post 423. You need to enable the mod, assign the objects to your Favourites and 'Hot Key' them. Then save the game, re-load and activate the key. It will then give you a variety of options, including "Remove All Active Effects" etc. Removed all active effects and visuals, I still appear to have the Ice Wraith thing at the bottom of my character. Except there is no annoying ice trail anymore. I guess it's a start :) There is another 'section' in the Director Tools (unfortunately I am not with my Windows box so can't check the details 100%) but they are both under 'Character Options'. You might want to try and reset any animations, too...

  3. Hi, I get '00000014' when clicking all over my character. If I click in the fire, out of my character body, it gets different IDs of the floor, walls or whatever is behind. I have tried player.addspell, removespell, sms, sme with no luck Thanks again, hoping someone can tell me how to fix I got exactly the same visual effect as you have. I am still trying to find out now. Edit: The number I got when I click on that effect is different everytime. But the number starts in ff. Again, recommendation is to use the 'Directors Tool' mod to purge all effects and layers from your character. It, effectively, recursively trawls though all effect permeations and removes them.
  4. Another suggestion, which has worked on stubborn elements for seremoth, myself and others, is to use the 'Director Tools' mod...
  5. Have you tried using the 'Director Tools' mod? That was the only thing that seemed to work for me... but it removes ALL active effects and layers, so you should find that fixes it. It bloody worked! Thanks man! Installed it, put them in favorites with hotkeys, saved the game, loaded it, used them, chose character options from the menu, reset visual effects... and it worked! Saved, loaded, no bloody glowing eyes anymore... Excellent news; I too was lacking any hope but when I managed to get 'Director Tools' working it all fell into place  I think the novelty of a cool effect soon runs it's course... but I guess the whole point of this thread is for the times when something goes wrong and those effects become permanent!

  7. Post #19 in this thread: ==ARGONIAN HIST HEAL SHADERS== A "boom" sound followed by white glowing edges around the player and faint white snow-like particles drifting upwards http://static2.nexusmods.com/110/mods/images/14718-1-1375597009.jpg ArgonianHistHealFSX: player.sms 10F4A9 Thanks Steve; I saw this when I first came to the thread but it didn't seem to work when I tried the player.sms method... At the very least, 'Director Tools' have allowed me to cycle through all the effects manually.
  8. Huzzah! After (eventually) installing 'Director Tools', I was able to find and remove the little sh*t! http://sgnls.net/img/effects_solution.png It looks to be the 'ArgonianHistHealFXS'... somehow it's been applied or perhaps some magic mod initiates it as some sort of effect on the player. Either way, I'm happy that this was identified. I'll play around and see if it really IS that effect in case it helps anybody (johnnyhaggis and thegrimfandango seem to have the same effect applied, if it's not too late to save them!). (As captioned, I had some issues getting 'Director Tools' to actually work; it would load the three items, but 'using' them didn't do anything. I added them to the 'Favourites' and quickkeys (as the mod dictates), though it's less clear that I needed to save and reload the game before mashing the quickkeys, yet, et voila...) I wanted to fix it, but I wanted to find out WHAT it was far, far more
  9. Reading through the thread, it looks as if I can 'resolve' my issue, or at the very least identify what effect is giving my character his aura... http://sgnls.net/img/aura_error.png So far; - Disabled ALL mods / updates - Standing Stone(d) myself a few times - Resurrect(ed) player - player.dispelallspells - player.removespell (various IDs) - player.sms (various IDs) I think I am just missing WHAT is affecting the character, rather than how to remove it... if anything, it looks to be more of a 'blessing' than an ailment... EDIT #1 : This looks to be similar to the 'Sovengarde Hero' glow, but I've not yet visited the place... is anybody able to confirm or suggest otherwise (or if this is possible)? EDIT #2 : I've applied the bugfix script for the 'Sovengarde Hero' glow with no change :(
