  1. Im pretty sure, its got the same settings as the GUI and when i edit them, they go back to default settings after I start the game.
  2. I tried that and didn't work. As soon as i start up the game the config edits will also default back to what they were. If i edit the configs and then make them read only, it still doesn't affect the settings in game either. But my edits will stay after I launch the game.
  3. I added the fallout 4 folder as an exception but it didn't do anything either. :(
  4. Then my next suggestion would be to start a new game save, go to the area where you are having fps drop/ctd. If you are able to move around fine with the new game save then your old save may have some scripts that are conflicting that may be causing the crash. If the new save game also has the fps drop/ctd, then it maybe more likely that a mod is causing the issue. Note: this is kinda of a theory that I go off of myself that typically works for me for whenever I have a ctd in a area and I try to resolve it. I can't say it will help you but it is a possibility. My other suggestion is to try troubleshooting and disabling one or a few .esp's at a time and reloading the game each time you disable a .esp and see if that works. Though doing this can be very time consuming, but could work. If you try this method I would suggest starting with the heavy mods first, then go to the less stressful mods
  5. It could be, WotC can be a pretty heavy performance mod since it can spawn a lot of npcs fighting each other. The game and your computer have to handle all the effects from the fighting, ragdolls, etc... if that physics fix or disabling the BostonFPSFIx esp doesn't help improve you FPS, then try disabling that as well. If you are really determined to have a kind of warzone like feel, there are other mods besides WotC that can somewhat offer the same experience, but with less drop in performance. Also if you haven't already, see if you need to update your video card as well.
  6. From a video i watched by JuiceHead, he said the BostonFPSFixAIO kinda works but not completely. video near url time here: https://youtu.be/nFf2kRXQmdM?t=753 You can try disabling that and see if that does anything. I didn't see any, add more npcs combat mods in your mod list, though if you do have one that could also be the culprit. If you haven't downloaded the High FPS Physics Fix (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44798) that could help with your frames as well.
  7. At the moment yes. Initially it wasn't, I set it to read only, to see if the changes would work. Which they did not, I can always switch it back but It wont do anything, the changes I make in they GUI always go back to default regardless of the config being set as read only or not.
  8. So I'm having an issue that, whenever I tweak my enb setting in the GUI or in my enblocal/enbseries config, they don't stay permanently. I know that i need to hit save configuration and hit apply changes, but it will just reset to the default settings. I can however do the tweaks and get the enb look I want, but every time I start the game up I have to do it, every single time. I also tried to edit the enblocal/enbseries config settings to what I want and then set it to read only, but it didn't work either. The enblocal/enbseries config will keep the edits I made, but will not change the GUI settings in game. Is this a result of F4SE having a conflict with the ENBs or is a mod causing it? Also I did try multiple ENBs, and the result was the same.
