  1. @Bigmustachelo #1 Did you follow every step of the guide? Because it sounds like you don't have the bashed patch in place, or activated. If you do then it's most likely a mod conflict
  2. @Berenia19 No, you would have to use a 32 bit Nifskope 32 bit Nifskope
  3. HUGE shoutout to Gabriel from Pizza Inn. First time I've meet someone under the age of 25 in the last few years who was respectful and polite.
  4. Try this https://www.nexusmods.com/Core/Libs/Common/Widgets/DownloadPopUp?id=209150&game_id=1704 or this https://archive.org/download/unofficial-skyrim-special-edition-patch-266-4-1-2a.-7z
  5. I need a screen shot of those purple entries please. The ONLY thing that should be purple in WRYE should be your saves And yes, after 8 years I am STILL maintaining this guide lol
  6. @Alex8484 Read and watch the video in post #296 above, that should help you
  7. 1) delete the folder for fallout 4, then let steam re-install it With that many broken mods this is your only safe option 2) I don't know which mod organizer you are using but the ONLY one i suggest is NMM, (nexus mod manager), which is still being updated by an outside team Located here for download - https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager As for instructions, here ya go, below, - Ignore what Gopher says about where to download it ( use the link i provided ) , Nexus has moved on to Vortex, which I do NOT recommend You might want to watch episode 2 of that by Gopher also, i think it will explain a lot to you :)
  8. This is not the right thread for this kind of topic this is a thread for beginners only please try to find another thread. I'm not trying to brush you off but I don't want to confuse beginners with advanced knowledge there's plenty of people in the Nexus chat room on discord that will help you
  9. your load order is limited to 255 by the engine itself, nothing can be done about this EXCEPT to merge mods like you suggested
  10. see if it does the same thing with out using the 3DNPC_FO4Settler.esp I remember with the skyrim version of that mod it had the same problem at one point which the mod author later fixed
  11. ok according to what you posted there is no reason why those 2 mods should not work together If there were any problems at all it would have thrown an error and more importantly it would have explicitly said what the error was
  12. ok that didn't tell me what I was looking for, try running Xedit (FO4Edit) with both the unofficial patch and the 3DNPC_FO4Settler.esp installed and enabled wait for it to finish doing it's thing then copy and paste the last 10 lines of what it says here please
  13. let me see just the bottom 10 lines of that report please
  14. did you try as I said by running only the base game files?
  15. Try the base game files only. if it still does it with just the base game files then it might very well be an overheat issue. My game ran fine for over a year then everytime i tried to run it , it would crash. The cause of the issue was an update to the Nvidia control panel had reset the CPU cooling fan to only 180RPM
  16. set aside the testing right now enable all the mods you had for Warren and start the game with them all enabled once out of the vault use the console commands to teleport to outside diamond city and then approach piper and play all that through see if it crashes again if it doesn't then it was a broken script if it does then it is one of the mods let me know
  17. sounds like to me you have a broken script
  18. One thing I would like to ask is this: When you are testing all these mods, are you using the same save once everything has tested good? Are you using a save that at ANY time included a mod that is no longer in your load order? If the answer is yes that is your problem. Testing mods is one thing, but time and time again I've seen too many people have the same exact problem you are having because they use the test save to play the game once all the mods have tested out to be "good". A test save is just that, once you have all your mods tested, working together, and no problems, that is when you toss the save and start a new game with a NEW save. Hope this helps
  19. @JimmyRJump This is a compliment, plain and simple. ( My wife tells me I am too brash sometimes lol :P ) Thank you very much for that detailed explanation, i would like to add it to the guide as a quote and I will give you credit for it. I don't mind when someone comes in and helps like you do, but we both know, that unfortunately 99% of the times they are talking off the top of their heads and have no clue what nonsense they are spouting, I am sure you can give several examples just like I could lol . When I wrote the original guide for Skyrim, i spent 6 months gathering information AND breaking my game over 100 times to get that info as near to 100% correct as possible. Along the way I've had some great people interject their own advice like you, DubiousIntent, alt3rn1ty & Sharlikran - both of the last 2 contributors to Wrye Bash . In fact I drove the people in the original chat room completely bonkers with all my questions lol .
  20. I In thatr particular situation you don't move DLC's. In fact you NEVER move DLC's around. what you need to do is; 1) go into Xedit ( FO4Edit ) 2) load true storms only and let Xedit do it's thing 3) then when it finishes right click ( or highlight ) True Storms and click Sort Masters 4) then close the program and it "should" ask you to save the change, do so When you go back into Wrye, you should see that the load order is correct now. The reason you are having this problem with that mod is because when the mod Author made the mod he or she did not have their own files in the correct load order. This entire process is covered in section 2.5 D - Appendix 1 Please read the guide and follow it step by step, it's not going to help you if you skip and jump around or miss something.
  21. Read and watch the video in post #296 above, that should help you :)
  22. I will tell you this, EVERY time I have personally cleaned the DLC's, my game did not run or work correctly
  23. 1) You move the mods up or down in the load order WITHIN Wrye. 2) On the right side of Wrye there will be a box that can be expanded , that box will tell you what the load order is, and what the CORRECT load order should be 3) Once again a mod will be a different color if it's not in the correct order. Also, most times, if the load order is wrong, FO4Edit will crash or throw up a ton of error messages in the message history. 4) I am betting you are trying to use a MERGED patch from FO4Edit like some of the other guides may have suggested and this is why your game is crashing after using FO4Edit. If I am wrong about this please let me know. For more information about this read the quoted dialogue from alt3rn1ty & Sharlikran
  24. you'll need either add mods to your game manually (which i don't recommend for a beginner) or else use a mod manager (IE Nexus Mod Manager ,Wryebash, Vortex) Thing with Wryebash that it's interface doesn't give you a way to add them via the menu you have to basically download the mod from a site then add them to a directory that was created by WB durning it's installation (EG x:\(where x is drive letter you installed Wryebash to - U:\steam\steamapps\common\SkyrimMods\Bash Installers (btw this is my setup it'll most likely vary for yours but the thing is the directory your looking for here is Bash Installers). finally run WB when it finishes loading up click on the installers tab let it do it's thing after it finishes that you can then choose a mod to install, to do so right click the mod and choose Install . Please do not respond to any questions in MY thread. While your advice is correct. I the author, do not need any confusion in this thread and would greatly appreciate if any advice to my readers came from either me or DubiousIntent. Thank you.
