*BUMP* Any help would be appreciated, please. @Meister: I am not even getting the option to HAVE any mods in the game. They simply do not show up in the "Download Manager" box at the bottom at all. Very frustrating.

Hi, I have read a few threads about this occurring, but not in the way that it is happening to me. I have the NMM downloaded to my computer, and I can open it just fine. When I go to the particular mod I want and click on "Download With Manager," I, first, get a spinning circle, then a box opens up asking me to donate, then after I click to download, the box closes and nothing happens at all. What gives? I even opened the Mod Manager with Administrator, and that changed nothing. Can someone please tell me what is going on so I can fix it and move on with life? Sheesh! Why does everything have to be so complicated? Thank you in advance P.S. I have already started the game, moved around a bit in the game and exited, since I downloaded the manager.

Please, everyone, do not forget about the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. That being said, I am sorry if I offended anyone; that was not the intention. However, the female persuasion of certain now-unnamed religions religiously wear cowls in an effort to "hide" their beauty. Leliana is a very beautiful character, there is no need to hide that beauty in a cartoon game. That was all I was trying to say. As far as my opinion of how Cassandra and Josephine look, how can that be construed as derogatory? I have seen at least nine or ten posts saying the same exact thing. None of us have to pretend that we like the looks of certain characters in the game or how we (straight males) feel like we were severely given the short end of the stick, where romance options are concerned. The facts are the facts. Straight men were not given ample romance options in this game. It doesn't mean that I, or even we, hate the game, just that I do not think it was fair at all and not much thought was put into how straight men would feel about said options. This thread is for mod requests. I am merely agreeing with Mr. Casanova that hair styles would greatly improve the aesthetics of the game, and romance options would be MUCH more realistic.

AGREED! Let's have mods for ALL the freakin' female outfits. Let's get rid of Leliana's <snip> head covering, and those man-pants, too, that the man-jawed, man-haired Cassandra is wearing. Since I'm on the subject, let's totally annihilate Cassandra's man-jaw and man-hair. She's is freakin' butt-ugly! If this was all real, with those options, I would most-definitely stay single. That little elf girl is kind of cute, so why do there have to be sexual preference limitations? That sounds a bit sexist to me. Let's remove all sexual preference limitations!

It would be nice to change Cassandra's face back to how she looked in her previous game appearances. I am taking into account that she has aged. However, please remove that chiseled man-jaw, and her hair simply could not be any more butch without being like Solas' head. Also, how about some clothing changes? My wife even agrees that she could not have been made to look anymore hideous that how she looks now. YUCK! The wife doesn't understand how I could utilize the romance options with the two characters for straight males in this game, when neither one are remotely as hot as she is! With that being said, a face-overhaul for Josephine would be pertinent. She is borderline-hideous. At the very least, remove that disgusting and unnecessary wart on her forehead above her right eye. What the heck is that all about anyway? For Leliana, it would be nice to take off that ridiculous <snip> head covering, which is so far from the lore of the game, I don't know what Bioware could have been thinking, and even though it would probably take a lot of work and possibly some additional voice acting, create a romance option for her. She is, by far, the most attractive woman in the game for this straight male. The wife agrees about that, as well. One of you skilled modding whizzes out there, please fix the women for the straight-man, romance-option! Thank you for your support!

Sorry, chief, you're wrong! I did nothing to the game! And I DID come on here asking for help. I bumped my thread three times before no on answered and I gave up. I played this thing Vanilla with no problems until 1.4 messed it up and 1.5 destroyed it! What do you mean by 1.5 works perfectly? Have you not looked around this forum and Bethesda's forums? 1.5 is crap! It has destroyed MANY people's games. So before you go throwin' around your weight like some tough guy, I suggest you look at everyone around who can't play their games because of CTDs and broken quests and corrupted files. If you knew me, you wouldn't want to be taking that tone with me. I'm just warnin' you. I was merely stating the problems with my game, and you come on here with a trolling attitude. What kind of help is that? Instead of being a jerk, why don't you try and tell me what I need to do to fix this POS? Thank you P.S. BTW, since you know so much about how to make the game work properly, why don't you go down the list of threads and answer all of the ones that no one is answering, which is about 90% of them, instead of acting like a noob.

Hey, man, I have had many threads here about different issues, and no one ever helps. So don't hold your breath. Either they don't want to help, or, this is my guess, they don't know how. It is a broken game, and it is more broken after these damaging patches than it's ever been. 1.4 and 1.5 have destroyed my game. After trying all different kinds of things to fix my game, I have concluded that nothing works at this point. I have removed it from my hard drive until I know it has finally been patched. Here are the problems I was having: 1. Pixels Galore! - After 1.5, I got pixels all over the place...constantly, and it turned out to be my upgraded video card. There is no excuse for this type of thing to happen. The way I fixed it was to turn off the anti-aliasing. 2. Corrupted Save Files - After 1.4, I entered an area (I no longer remember where), and I fell through the floor on the other side of the load screen. Almost all the textures were completely gone. When I went to reload the game, ALL of my Save Files were corrupted, and the game would no longer load...AT ALL! I had to delete and reload the game, starting over after reaching level 33. 3. No More Fast Travel - After 1.5, I could no longer fast travel. Then I found that some of my save files would allow me to, but there was no rhyme or reason as to why, all the sudden, I could no longer fast travel after leaving a dungeon or a city. Strange...never figured this one out. 4. Enemies No Longer Recognized Me As An Enemy - After 1.5, all the sudden, no one saw me as an enemy until I initiated combat. This corruption was throughout ALL my Save Files. Once again, I had to delete and reload the game over again after reaching level 10. 5. THE BIG ONE! - After reloading the game again, playing completely Vanilla, I got the where I have to meet Irileth in the main quest to fight my first dragon. When I get to the place where she meets me, she says what she's supposed to say, but my journal objectives never change to "Kill Dragon." So the dragon continues flying overhead, he never lands, and he is invincible to arrows. This was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. There is no need for me to play this broken game at all if I can't even move forward with the main quest. One of these days, maybe in the next year or so, they will fix this freakin' game, but until then, there are plenty of other great games to play that aren't broken at all. Good luck with this garbage. P.S. Oh, and I am sick and tired of hearing the same freakin' excuse over and over...The game is epic and so huge that things like this are bound to happen. WRONG! Maybe a couple of things, yes. But when you release patches that damage the game more and more with each release, and you have Steam enabled, which doesn't allow you to go back to the previous patches. When the main quest doesn't even work. When there is no phone number to call for support on a game that netted the company (Bethesda) millions of dollars in revenue, then there is simply NO EXCUSE for this ridiculous nonsense!

Another way to fix this problem is to turn off the Anti-Aliasing.

Hey, I appreciate all the help, folks! Thanks again! For all those who don't know how to fix this problem, I have figured it out...start the game over. If you can no longer fast travel or if enemies don't recognize you as such, it means that your Save Files are corrputed by the 1.5 patch. The way around this is to delete your corrupted files, and reinstall your backed up save files. Or do like I did, and just start the freakin' game over again.

It appears, my friend, that there is no one around here who can offer help. I have had a thread going now since about two hours after the 1.5 patch came out, and I have still received no love from anyone. I have noticed other posts just like yours that just get pushed on down the line with nary an answer. This by far is the WORST patch yet. Every patch is destroying the game worse and worse! I have multiple problems, and one of mine assimilates yours. Here's what I've got going on: BAD - 1. Pixelation problems that were remedied by turning off Anti-Aliasing, which is something I really don't want to do. WORSE - 2. Cannot fast travel anymore. WORST - 3. Enemies don't recognize me as an enemy until I initiate combat. Like I said, I have my own thread that I have bumped twice now, and no one knows anything about how to fix these NASTY problems, apparently. It, literally, makes the game unplayable when no one will attack you. Not being able to fast travel is simply terrible in this huge world!
