  1. Anyone else getting a screwed up third person mode after the patch? My character keeps twisting off to one side like he's looking at something, and the gun is never pointing in the same direction as where I'm shooting, so bullets/lasers end up ejecting from the end of the gun at an awkward side angle.
  2. Hmmm... so my Minutemen radio hasn't been working for a long time now but since I never listen to it I didn't ever go looking for a solution... but now since the latest game patch Diamond City Radio isn't working either. Dead silent. EDIT: Nvm... waiting 24 hours made Diamond City Radio start back up, and powering off and on the Castle transmitter started Radio Freedom back up.
  3. In response to post #34074350. I'm using Spring Cleaning v2.05 on the latest version of Fallout 4 and haven't noticed any problems. I cleared debris from Murkwater Construction Site just a few minutes ago.
  4. In response to post #34068110. #34069685, #34071610, #34072560, #34074460, #34075165 are all replies on the same post. Did you try simply disabling them all and re-enabling them via NMM? I had to do that anyway since the launcher always disables my mods when I try to start up the game, but once I got in game with all my mods enabled I haven't had a single issue. Every mod seems to be working either as well or better than it was before.
  5. I haven't experienced a single problem with any of the many mods I have installed since the update. I use Homemaker, Spring Cleaning, Simple Intersection, Armorsmith Extended, Darker Nights, numerous weapon and armor mods... not a single problem so far. In fact, some things seem to be working better since the update. Workshop lights that wouldn't light up before are working properly now, and I love the new settler status part of the workshop menu. I love that you can even set companions who are hanging around a settlement to perform the same sorts of functions around the settlement as regular settlers. One thing I noticed, though, is that when I try to set a companion to farm they'll only assign to the single plant/planter I initially assign them to, and they won't automatically take charge of nearby unassigned plants/planters like farmers are supposed to. Not sure if that's just how it works with all settlers now and you have to assign them to each individual thing you want them to farm, or if it's a bug specific to assigning companions to perform settler duties. But yeah other than that the new patch has surprisingly not caused me any problems so far, despite the large number of mods I have installed.
  6. You want me to sort through pages of mods I never intend to use in the vague hope that adding my "vote" to it will someday properly sort it into a category where I won't have to look at it anymore? Forgive me but that seems unreasonable and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would think so. In fact I'd guess that there are very few people who would actually be willing to spend the significant amount of time that would require. I could spend hours trying to correctly tag mod after mod and still it would likely in most cases change nothing. All I would get is the vague hope that maybe someday I might get a portion of the results I was hoping for. It seems to me that it should be the responsibility of the site's administration to ensure that mods are properly sorted and that the website's tools for sorting and finding work properly for the userbase, especially since this crowdsource mentality doesn't seem to be working out very well and so many mods are falling through the cracks. If there are files that are holdovers from before there were tags, or other files that are tagged incorrectly, then they should be fixed by the staff here, not simply left to however long it will take for the users to eventually fix through consensus, if they ever even do.
  7. Whenever I'm looking for cool armor/clothing mods for Bethesda games like Skyrim or New Vegas, I have a hell of a time sorting through page after page of female character skimpy outfits that I'm not interested in using, regardless of what preferences or filters I try to apply to my browsing. I only ever play as a male character in these games, and if I want to see sexy women I'll just go watch porn. So I try to use the filters the site provides but they don't really seem to do anything at all. If I have "for male characters" selected and "for female characters" unselected, I still get all of the "TYPE 3 BODY BELLYDANCER OUTFIT" or "SUPER SHORT CUTOFF JEANS" kind of stuff. Why is it that we have the option to "screen" our browsing if it doesn't even work? When I try to sort by male character mods only I expect to find stuff only for male characters, or stuff that works for both genders. If I don't have "skimpy or sexy" content selected I expect not to have to sift through page after page where at least 75% of the content is precisely that. It makes the whole mod browsing experience quite tedious. Can't something be done to make these tools actually work?
  8. Modding was never about the expectation of compensation before. People created and freely distributed modifications because they enjoyed altering and improving upon games they enjoyed, and because they enjoyed when others enjoyed what they'd created. Making it about money is what will ruin modding.
  9. I just downloaded Unique Uniques because I love the new look of Dragonbane. I then downloaded Two-Handed Vanilla Katanas because I prefer the look of the swords when sheathed on your back rather than at your hip. The Problem is that I was hoping that the Unique Uniques Dragonbane look would override the default look when used in conjunction with Two-Handed Katanas, but it didn't. They still look like the vanilla Blade's Swords. So how would I go about making the two-handed Dragonbane this mod gives me look like the dragonbane from Unique Uniques? I'm afraid I don't know anything about modding Skyrim as all the mods I've installed were installed through the Nexus Mod Manager, so I just have no idea at all where'd I'd find textures or models or anything I might need for this. I would hope it would just be a matter of replacing the original model and textures with the new ones in some folder somewhere, but I really have no idea... EDIT: Never mind, just discovered that what I want already exists.
  10. I've always loved the look of this armor. It'd be amazing if someone could recreate it as a craftable light armor set for Skyrim. Though it was originally a Jedi outfit from a Star Wars comic, personally I think it looks like it would fit right into the world of Skyrim and be 100% lore-friendly. You could even call it something else, and maybe even change the symbol on the pauldron to something from in-game to tie it into the world more. Thoughts?
  11. I've been playing a battlemage character recently who focuses on heavy armor, two-handed swords, and conjuration. With his set of Nordic Carved armor and a mage's hood, he looks pretty cool, but I was just thinking how much more awesome he'd be if he could wear his Archmage's Robes under his armor so that just the hood showed through, and he could receive the benefits of both the robe and the armor simultaneously. A quick google search turned up only inquiries into wearing robes OVER armor, unfortunately. I don't know anything about modding, but it doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to make something like this happen, does it? I understand that the models for the robes often include 'tails' or other droopy or sticking out parts that would clip through the armor models, so is there a way to hide only the parts of the robes that are being covered by armor? Like, if you aren't wearing boots, perhaps the legging parts of the robes would be visible, and if you aren't wearing gauntlets, the sleeves of the robe might be visible, and without a helmet, the hood (if it has one built in) would show? But any time you put armor on a part of your body, the armor would supercede the robes in that location? Thoughts?
  12. An entire set of heavy armor called something like "The Aegis of the Worldeater" would be badass.
