  2. So I was browsing Nexus and noticed that a lot of the mods I've downloaded for Skyrim SE had been flagged as "Updates available". For some the updates come as updates or patches, while others are new versions of the full files all together. As a test I've downloaded the news versions of two (Pfuscers 2020 textures, and LeanWolfs Better Shaped Weapons.) For both I had ordered them to be loaded AFTER the older versions. The 2020 texture mod had made one of the older files redundant, so I had vortex remove the older redundant file. Should I be good as long as I have the updated versions load AFTER the older ones? Thanks! (Again, as stated in previous posts, I'm new to mods)

  4. CTD? Also, I have a lot of different quest mods on my game (currently playing through Project AHO.) I'll let yall know if I hit anything game breaking. Here's hoping nothing bad hits. In the link is a screenshot of my mod staging folder. So far I have 100 hours with no issues, and all of these mods with the exception of Maids II and a few smaller ones have all been installed and enabled for the entirety of the playthrough. Also, I'm fairly new to modding and PC gaming so everything I'm doing was learned about through a ton of research and trial and error. https://ibb.co/RzGpCxS
  5. Quick update: I backed up my last 10 or so saves on a separate drive prior to installation of Maids II. I then continued my game, and played for about 4 hours. Though I just continued the current quest I was completing, I've noticed nothing out of the ordinary, outside of familiar glitches or two (camera/mouse lag, which fixes itself while playing; and a sound glitch, which has happened before (which is fixed with a disable and enable of the Audio Overhaul mod). So, so far so good. Has anyone else installed this mod mid playthrough? I'm wondering what issues I should expect if any, or if the warning is just a precaution.
  6. I should mention I do not want to start the whole game over, as I've invested a lot of time into the character I'm playing.
  7. Hey all. So I have about 40gbs worth of mods on my skyrim which I've been playing with for the last few months. I was looking to install Maids II, but the author recommends installing on a new game and not mid playthrough (something about the mod being heavy script based or something). Has anyone had issues installing mid playthrough?
  8. Do Skyrim and it's mods need to run off of the same drive? Also, would all this affect my saves?
  9. Hey all. So I have a hefty 41gb Skyrim Mods folder on my desktop (Drive C: 256gb). I would like to move it to my 2nd drive (E: 2tb) to clear space on my C Drive. Skyrim SE is installed on C:, as is Vortex, and Vortex is claiming the mod staging for Skyrim SE is c:\\users\user\desktop\skyrim mods. Would moving the massive mod staging folder be as simple as copying it to E: and then changing the mod staging location on Vortex to wherever it's located in E:, or would there be issues, being Skyrim is running on C:?
