Hey all I'm looking to make a mod of a sizeable amount but I wanted it to do in part by building a small settlement just past the gate SW of Falkreath. I am wondering if there are any mods that edit that WorldSpace. Besides the settlement there will likely be a cave or some sort of entrance into a separate exterior world space (I suppose something similar how Solstheim or Fort Dawnguard is handled) where the breadth of the action will take place. This would be my first mod and I am just now in the planning learning phases, more or less trying to get comfortable and efficient with the creation kit as well as reading up on Papyrus as well.

Does skyrim not suffer form issues such as Micro-stuttering? I thought initially it did (but what new release doesn't)

Meh not happening, I'd rather do single GPU and avoid the issues surrounding dual card setups.

Hello all, was wondering if anyone has got a 780 and been playing skyrim modded out to the core of course, I currently run a 670 and it does thing very well, I have my game decked out with mods, (lighting, suble, enb, i removed the grass mod I had it was just too much, textures, etc. etc.) All in all I get pretty high fps (always above 60, usually higher) in interiors, but on exteriors it ultimately varies, I'd say I hang around between 40-60 fps, I have a 144hz monitor so I would like to take advantage of the high fps smoothness. Anyways any testimonials? Obviously I'm not getting it just for skyrim but i figurecd when used in this applciation it benefits highly from the 3gb as well as significantly upgradedd memory bandwidth, (in comparison to my 670)

Hello All I keep trying to make a merged patch using the following mods, but I keep getting a crash to dekstop upon startup. I don't have any issues when I disable the merge patch and keep the ReProc.esp but having them both together causes issues. GrassOnSteroids_NaturalEdition_SFO.esp <--Boss likes to put this mod at the bottom no idea why but it is included in both Merged and SkyProc Pathces, it doesn't recognize it as a plugin So yup, basically I include everything in the merged patch except the 3 ReProc related esps at the bottom, them from there I go and patch with the Reproc (and Nonplayer, and dragonborn are on the blocklist) I do include the merged patch as part of the Reproc patch if I'm using it, but when I am not ill disable the merged patch and rerun the patch and won't have issues (for now atleast, this is a fresh install) So, any ideas? And if by some chance this might be seen as totally unnecessary please let me know, just trying to make sure all my mods will play nice and i read that these are the steps one might consider taking. :)

I've run into a strange problem where i can't dual cast :( I have a spell equipped to my right hand and one to my left but it doesn't do anything (the one on the right) I disabled all mods pertaining to magic gameplay to no avail. My bindings are right, I'm clueless to why this is happening. It also won't dual cast if i have a weapon in my left hand and spell in my right. I love my G500. Favorite feature is definitely adjustable DPI. I am still tweaking it but I find it particularly useful for BF3 where different situations warrant different sensitivities. It's not loaded with buttons which isn't a big deal I don't guess, I don't play mmo or anything like that. I use the 3 side buttons as follow; Up is Grenda, Down is Knife, Middle is Spot/Command . I might swap weapon scrolling for up/down on mouse, and maybe put knife as Scroll Wheel Left. Not as useful in skyrim but I do use different settings based on whether im doing melee/magic and bow. haven't found uses for the extra buttons yet but I just haven't really blade skyrim since I've gotten it.

Ahh thanks good to know. I figured my 8gb was plenty, I multitask a lot so for desktop use it's notably useful as well. That NZIT (spell check) seems to be getting solid reviews so perhaps I will go with that after all. I have a pretty decent chair as it is but I'll keep that in mind. I do use some leather office chair, maybe not the solidest quality but its better than using that wooden stool I use to use. As i mentioned before I like the CM Storm Striker FMOD mentioned earlier. Any thoughts on the Logitech G500? I plan on getting a new desk when we move, Im guessing I want something that the PC is open to the air surrounding it ? Can someone give me a good concise guide to OCing? GPU, RAM, CPU

Alright lets see here; Asrock Extrem4 Z77 Motherboard I found on ebay, some dude just opened the box that was it 120$ Intel Core i5 3570K I found on a amazon 220$ one day, cheapest I've seen it the Nvidia EVGA GTX 670 FTW Edition Again found on ebay, wasn't even open, the seller had one of the first gen GTX 670 which had some issues so this was one was sent as a replacement and on the whole is much more reliable. 400$ The G.SKill Sniper Series Ram I think I paid 62$ For Cooler MAster EVO 212 Heatsink I paid 35$ The Coolermaster Case I found from a store in "china" that arrived on my door step 2 days after buying was 100$ shipped free. The Western Digital Caviar Black I actually bought a year and ahalf ago for 110$ I do believe Alright so technically...the PSU and CD Drive were free as they were hand me downs. I did get kinda burned on Pc Powering and Cooloing Turbo Cool, sorta my fault but I paid 95$ shipped, yeah yeah I know believe I am not happy about it but sometimes we go to learn the hard way. For a monitor I am just using my 27" VIZIO LED TV, it has a nice picture and serves pretty well as a monitor, not really seeing a reason to change it out. As for the PSU I am not entirely sure how wattage Im going to be looking for. I plan on OCing the core i5 to about 4.2 ghz and that'll probably be it, so perhaps something in the 650-750 watt range, regardless of what I get it needs to be quiet and cool. I defiently took all advice into consideration but at the end of day it all boiled down what I thought was right for me and research. I wouldn't say it's 100% done but it's done in the sense that I can play games at more than satisfactory level. Ahh I figured it out. PCIE2 and PCIE3 are designations of PCI Slots on the board but both are PCI3.0 Gen 3 with the Use of IB. It looks like it does exactly what I don't want it to do. knocks down the other bus rate by half so I guess I won't bother still strange that one of the PCI 3.0 Slots is only x8

Ahh I didnt think about that. I'll have to check. One PCI Slot is 2.0 and one is 3.0 I know that much. Oh...wait a second....Why would my PC3 slot only be x16 at single? Or am I missing something here? I don't know the bandwidth different between PC3 and PC2 thus implies using my PC2 slot will give me more bandwidth then the PC3

I recently ordered an EVGA GTX 670 SC, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use my 9400GT to handle PhysX processing since it supports it. My question is, would the 9400GT be able to handle to modern day calculations necessary for games that support PhysX. Obviously this is one of those things where I might as well use it since I have it :P And my pc would not be completely ruined if this were not possible.

SKill SNiper Series 8 GB 1866Mhz Ram (6) AMD Radeon 4890 (being swapped out for a GTX 670 today) (400) Western Digital Caviar Black 1.5 TB Hard Drive (100$) Antec 500 watt psu (had another much more powerful one but it is way too loud) (eh...40?? twas free ) Cooler Master HAF932 Advanced (100$) All in all that setup pushed 1100$ (almost 1400 NZD) I saved some money hear and there Keep in mind I still will upgrade the PSU in the future, as well as get an SSD, another 8gb of ram, and probably a different heatsink.

Hmmmm... Perhaps the new mobo/cpu/ram would be a good route to go. Ironic I used to have a 920 then I made the switch to my current setup, it made a tremendous improvement despite the fact that I was still using my Radeon 4890, (GTX 670 is on the way, should be here today :) ) Yeah I saw a T1100 gor like 180$ the other day with Zalman Cooler, I was going to get it to put into my AMD mobo but decided not to since I knew the 3570k would be more powerful.

If you are confused about core i5/i7 let me break it down for me. For gaming and if you plan on doing gaming a core i5 2500k (Sandy Bridge 2nd Gen), core i5 3570k (that's what I got, Ivy Bridge 3rd gen) Either one of those for gaming will be perfectly fine. Now can you upgrade to a core i7 and if you do a lot work with video encoding you'd see help there but that's really it. The 2500k/3570 is somewhat of a minimum and maximum for lack of better when it comes to gaming. I wouldn't get any less, nor would I really get any more. For that package I would get an Asrock Extrem4 Z77 Motherboard as well as the core i5 3570k, some people say the 3570k runs warmer, but A) It's still fairly bearable B) With a good heatsink it becomes pretty marginal C)They essentially supposed to. With my Coolermaster EVO 212 It runs about 32 degrees average celsius, not bad but there is worse out there for sure. So i guess go with one of the higher range Phenom II X4, The Bulldozers are worthless, I don't mean to troll but my Pheon 940 feels fast then them :P By the way for a heatsink ram, the core i5 spu, and that mobo I spoke will run you maybe about 450 USD which 660$ You really wouldn't go wrong with either 2500k or 3570k. I really hate doing this to be wanting an AMD build, but the fact is intel has just got the better stuff right now.
