  2. Hello all. I'd like to try my hand at creating a small clothing/armor mod for NV. I would greatly appreciate any links, feedback, pointers, tutorials, etc on the matter. If anyone has a link to a YouTube tutorial for novices, that would be ideal. I've got the specific item I want to use as a texture base in mind, but I'd like to give it different stats, abilities, and a color tweak. Thank you in advance.

  5. In fomm, I deactivated it, it uninstalled, then i deleted it
  6. Okay, so I copied and pasted everything in the fose folder into fallout 3 goty. Run game, ~, still getting the same message... I ran the fose launcher and hit the ~ key again, same message...
  7. Okay, just to make sure I did this correctly... 1. Opened FOMM. 2. Package installer, install fomod, fose...blah blah version whatever, successful. 3. Activate and run game. 4. ~ > fosever > SCRIPTS: Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', line 1: Script command "fosever" not found
  8. When it comes to archive invalidation, the manual version is 2kb, but the recommended program version is 246kb...I've always gone with the recommended...should I do so now as well?
  9. I already know the script extender is a given, but besides that, the mods I wish to have are iron sights, fwe, and flora overhaul. Those 3 are essential to my personal play experience. I would like to try a few others, like more realistic combat ai, enhanced blood textures, and maybe dc interiors, but every time I would get dc interiors LOOT would tell me there were deleted navmeshes which could cause crashing, so idk about that.
  10. Hmm, well, the way you describe it, I think I'd fell better going with MO2, but if there's a specific version I need to get, idk which one it would be. Also, if I do use MO2 to download and install these mods, is it going to auto-sort them for me, or do I have to put them in a certain order manually? Cause I can, I just want to be sure I'm doing it correctly.

  12. Alright, just got out of 101, waited a bit for all the DLC messages to kick in, then saved and exited. No problems from last update.
  13. So, update... I've been progressing, slower than I want, but having played before, I wanted to break the game a bit. So, I added a bunch of perks, maxed my skills and special off the flip. (None of this has ever caused problems before, so I figured why not). I have like 8 backup saves, just in case. I've also been experimenting with opening doors I shouldn't be able to open, (not inaccessible, just very hard locked), and that hasn't done anything yet. One thing though I am testing currently... This version of FOMM, for whatever reason, had the load order incorrect... For me, it's always been FO3, OA, TP, BS, PL, and lastly, MZ. That's how it has ALWAYS been. This time, everything was out of whack. I had to rearrange. Had to put FO3 first, cause it was listed 3rd. Wasn't paying attention and apparently TP was 4th, PL was 3rd, and Bs was 2nd. So, I saved, exited, switched the order to the correct order, and just loaded it up. Everything loaded fine. Now to continue where I left off and see if it goes smoothly
  14. New game running smooth after doing all that. Did all steps in order, everything double checked, started new game, currently in the playpen as a baby, so far so good, no screw ups, no crashes, game is running smoothly with no stuttering or lag.
  15. So far so good. Starting new game, gonna get through 101. Go ahead and hit me with the next step while I'm getting through this. And again, thanks for taking the time to help me.
  16. I had to install the version of FOMM you listed there, and it's now added to Steam, but I'm not seeing tweaks file anywhere. There's an option under the tools tab in FOMM that says "install tweaker", but that's the closest to anything tweak related I can find.
  17. It is done. I now have a fresh copy of FOMM installed directly on C.
  18. My internet was f--ked all night last night and the CS tech didn't do sh--. Try restarting your router! Like, no, dipsh--, that's not the f--king problem; it's a problem on your end, for the 4th time, I just want to know when it will be fixed! Well, first, unplug your router... F--K!! I didn't get ignorant with them, but I was screaming that in my head... Either way, the problem has apparently been resolved and my internet is steady. FO3 is installed in the new, separated from protection Steam folder. That being said, FOMM is already installed, but through Documents...will this have any effect on modding and should I reinstall it directly to C, or can I leave it where it is?
