  1. What I discovered is to make HD versions of the textures you have to re-make the texture from the 256x256 size to perhaps 2048x2048 size. The UV mapping of the 3D model usually fit this new bigger texture onto the existing mesh. You have to do re-do the Normal maps as well.
  2. hello. I've been trying to make some arrow traps. I've been using TrapDartPortSingle01 I've tried nearly everything to get them to work within the Tamriel worldspace. I've tried copy and pasting them from the Warehouse, setting up a trap linker, switching from activate and enable parents - and nothing.. Nothing seems to work. I can make mace traps and oil traps work just fine. I just want to stand on a pressure plate and let arrows fly into the player
  3. I recently updated my mod Roland theme and it won't appear in the 'Recently Update' of website. I've update the files, added a bunch of screenshots and Saved it. I had the mod 'Hidden' before finally 'Publishing' it. Am I doing anything wrong?
  4. Omg. So frustrating. I want to create some new masks for skyrim, using the dragon priest helms as a base. All I want to do is combining some new meshes, maybe adding some horns, hoods and feathers to the base mesh in nifskope. They appear in nifskope, but do not appear in CK or in game. It must be the skinning, the bDismemberSkinInstance. I know its posible to combine several static meshes, but is it possible to combine armor/clothing too? Or do I have to cut my losses and get SDSMax (because I tried to make a new mesh in Blender and the nif export constantly fails) Can anynone please help?
  5. I might have a solution. What I did was extracted everything from Textures.bsa and Meshes.bsa and put them all in the Data folder. It cost me 5gb in total, not draining my system. I think you may have put the texture file in a different location to your mesh. Nifskope wants to read the .dds files from within the nested folders within the Textures folder in the data directory, but its not there, therefore the magenta colour. It is real finicky about its directories, they have to be the specific folders within the Data folder. e.g. Wine Bottle: textures\clutter\wine\WineBottles01.dds
  6. BUMP. I created a tutorial which explains where to find the Starts Dead tick, how to position the body with havok system & use it with Z axis; and how to move individual body parts with Alt + left click. I hope it helps
  7. Yeah he cancels the package, doesn't resume his walk. I just want him to walk back and forth non stop. I tried with XMarkerHeadings and it didn't work.
  8. Hello. I figured how to make my Khajiit NPC patrol back and forth between 2 patrolidle markers with a PatrolStaticpathing template package. He does this 24/7. It works fine until the player character talks to him, and then he stops moving. What can I do? Should I use a Travel or Wander package? A default package instead? thank you
  9. Here is my video on savepcface command. The .npc files appear in the main Skyrim folder, not Data folder. I even explain how to fix the black face bug.
  10. I think I can help. To get the help console commands to work in windowed mode, you must set the resolution to 1024 x 640 and the pixel aspect ratio to 16:10 widescreen. Hope it works for you.
