Yeah i just did another Re-Install, that fixed it. Really have no idea what caused it in the first place.

So yeah, after getting fed up with oblivion being a stuttering bung holio for some reason that i couldn't isolate, i decided to go with a fresh Re-install. Game runs smoothly, that's all fine and dandy however my water in the game is acting quite peculiar. Picture VERY related. Not sure if it's a shader problem or an ini problem.. As a note i'm using OBGE and OBGE Liquid Water, i disable them both and i still have the issue, so it's gotta be something to do with vanilla settings i think.. PC Specs Here: AMD Athlon II X2 220 Processor 2.80 hz 4 GB RAM 64 bit OS Nvidia Geforce GT 640 PC ( not a laptop ) ^ as above, i honestly shouldn't have any problems running the game at all, I can run Skyrim on high no problems. Well gentlemen, i hope you can save me in my darkest hour, gods know i don't want to re install oblivion all over again.

For anyone having trouble with this thing, here's a tip that may work. Click start menu, in the search type %appdata% to open up a hidden folder where the virus might be hiding. go to microsoft/windows/startmenu/programs/startup Remove the Ctfmon ( .Ink if in DOS ), as that's what calls the virus up everytime you log in. K Update, it's the MoneyPak virus guise. ( a type of trojan ) If you used the phony executable, use a malware software removal tool ASAP.

Do not activate ANY strange executables. Scanned it first with avg, seems clear but it's not. Basically what it does is cancels out everything you're doing and redirects you to some phony FBI page saying they've locked your computer and require 300 dollars to unlock it. As is obvious, don't give out ANY info or any money. Now for the big thing is finding where the f*#@ this thing installed so i can rid myself of it >:( Can't log into my main account on the PC because everytime i do, white phony FBI screen.

This is an armour i've always wanted to see in Oblivion for awhile now! I really do hope someone makes this. So.... Can they make it or can they make it!? ( You modders with yer l33t skillz aint got a choice hurr lol) :biggrin:
