Hello, I am trying to start using Vortex. I have unistalled NMM and deleted mods, created a fresh account on my computer, and freshly reistalled SkyrimSE. When ever I try installing a mod downloaded by using the download with NMM button I get the following message EPERM: operation not permitted, rename 'C:\Program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\textures\actors\character\redguar...\femalehead_msn.dds' This is trying to install CDDE and Bodyslide. Am I doing something wrong or is it something with Vortex?

Alright, I seem to have fixed it as far as I can tell so far. I hate the way I did it, but I wanted to play the game. I deactivated all mods in NMM, went to Bethesda and downloaded what I could from them, and then reactivated only the mods I couldn't find and can't live without in NMM. I guess it will work for now until I find a better solution. Hopefully when SKSE64 comes out, I will have a better option.

So, I nuked Skyrim SE, unactivated all mods, reinstalled SSE, reactivated all mods, cleaned, merge patched, and looted again, still crashing

Still working my way through the mods one at a time. Tried the merged patch and Wrye Batch patch, still no go. Thank you for your help ***EDIT*** So, I've gone through my mods, and can't seem to find the issue. Decided to start a new game, now it CTD's when I try to leave the cave under Helgren. Any ideas what to do, other than deleting everything and starting over?

Cleaning it didn't help, thank you though.

I am trying to leave to kill the Master Vampire, and everytime it hits the loading screen, Skyrim CTDs. I have also not been able to enter the Mooreside Inn. I have ran LOOT and FNIS several times, it still won't work.
