  1. Thanks AnkhAscendant :) this will be better than nothing anyway. Hopefully there will be a skill based mod like this in the near future though!
  2. I would like to see something like this as well, especially when I play as rogues or thieves, it just doesn't make sense to kill everyone you come across! Being able to knock people out is something I really miss from Oblivion, it was really useful and you're right it doesn't seem realistic to kill everyone in your way. I'm really not sure how to go about this myself but you had some really good ideas that i'm sure a skilled modder could implement. I mean a lot of the mechanics are already kind of there.
  3. I can't be of any real help as my knowledge is limited but I found the wiki page explaining how the values work. I tried fiddling with the CK and Cloaks of Skyrim and here's as far as my understanding goes, Open up CK Open File, get Skyrim.esm selected and activate Cloaks.esp in data Under Items click on ArmorAddon Then pick the item you wish to mod (say CloakBrownBurlapAA) and right click Edit Near the top is Weapon Adjust Enter in the number you want to change to (I can't help you there) http://www.creationkit.com/ArmorAddon I'll try to look up the average or typical distance but the other issue is I'm not really sure how to go about fixing the clipping. What I mean is I figured out how to get there but not sure what would help or hinder (making it larger and smaller). Plus I don't want to try anything too extreme until I know more about what I'm doing. So i'm going to read through the wiki and some more tutorials and hopefully I can figure it out. :)
  4. The Divine Paladin/Aegis armour is really cool too, I like the detail work and it looks like a nice heavy armour for heroe type characters especially. I was always a fan of the ebony armour but it doesn't always fit my warrior characters. Oh and I figured I might as well share too before I let this thread die or get taken up. It's pretty popular but I like to look of the Tribunal Robes for mage characters, I was thinking of giving it to my mage follower Morgaine along with Volsung's cloak (from Cloaks of Skyrim mod). Thanks for helping me find a few more good ones :)
  5. Thank you, that's a pretty spiffy armour! I don't know maybe I just have no luck but everytime I search for female armour (not just here) those types are so rare. Anyway thanks Triaxx2 :) I guess I've got to look a little harder next time ;) However my first post still stand, if anyone is interested I'd be thrilled!
  6. I'm going to start by saying I have seen a handful of really nice female armour, so I've downloaded most of them. In fact the few really good ones are usually much better than the vanilla ones available. The problem, is that I've decided to stick with the default bodies (well aside from detailed bodies by Xenius) so that limits what I can use. My main issue isn't how sexy the armour is but I do have an issue with how useless or impractical they usually are. I adore the Triss armour and I'm sure many people do too, it's detailed and interesting, lore-friendly (to me anyway) and practical as a light armour, plus it still looks nice. The same goes for Grace Darkling's Ranger Armor it has that look like it belongs but is still attractive, as well as Immersive Armors, which is fantastic for both the girls and guys. I guess I'm just frustrated with my choices being between essentially wearing guys armour with boob pockets or literally almost nothing. Yes, I love to go exploring or fighting bandits in a thong and high heels :\ but you know what, it's okay if you do. I just like to role-play a little more and I figure that if the armour doesn't cover my character there is no way she would survive fighting a wolf ratherless a Draugr Deathlord. Anyway long story short I'd love for somebody to make some practical, feminine armour. I have a couple ideas if anyone is interested, one could be inspired by ancient relics from previous TES games or by Oblivion armour mods such as the Underworld armor by Zertualpro, FF_RM Assassin Elite Armor by Petrovich or the Battledress by Cgramnaes. Another idea is from other games like Dragon Age or Neverwinter Nights, either heavy or light armour is great. I've never made armour but I realize it's a huge undertaking so if anyone decides they'd like to do it, I'd be really grateful. Thanks for reading anyway :)
  7. True, but who knows if Morrigan will raise the baby. Hehe well I thought both your comments on that were great :P especially the first one.
  8. Lol wow I literally laughed for a good few minutes, that was awesome! I might just do that for the time being, since I don't mind if it's me... I can be magical and impregnate another women, obviously. The would be hilarious in fact that would almost make it a better option because that way I don't have to think about it at all, I'll just be laughing at the scene of Morrigan and some skeleton creature "making love". Thanks a lot actually because for amusement that would even be better than a half-ass effort (on my part) to change the other in the ritual. I have to agree, it does seem a lot less traumatizing!
  9. Oh okay, well maybe I'll just have to do more research and experimenting with the scripts (it may take a long time but hey its worth a shot, I'm not computer illiterate after all!) I still have hope that someone else will take an interest in the mod idea because even if I manage to do it, someone with a lot of experience and talent would do a heck of a lot better!
  10. Just curious, what did you do to the scene to change it? Are they just more hesitant? Because honestly I just don't want to make Alistair do it and since my PC is female I can't. I do know that they have to be a grey warden but I'll admit I didn't know that they had to be recently tainted which I guess would make it more difficult. If someone were willing to make Sten or some other character go through the ritual maybe taking the movie clip from the beginning where the pc goes through the ritual but putting in another character in their place (kind of like how the animations show the pc even though everyone makes a different pc, though I'm not sure how this works). All I'm saying is that it would be a great mod, though it does seem more difficult than I thought it would be. I do get how putting Alistair or yourself through it for the good of all is very heroic and fits the story but I'd be nice to have other opinions. Thanks for telling me a little more detail, I understand a little more why that part plays out the way it does.
  11. Although I haven't beaten the game yet I'm getting close and because I've read spoilers and whatnot online I know about the ritual and frankly I'd really rather not force Alistair to do it. Aside from the fact that he is my pc's love interest, Morrigan and him do not get along. Sure they have enough fun banter but the thought of making Alistair bed her (especially since he seems oppose to the idea) just make me sick and I really don't want to kill him to get Logain to do it because that'd be really sad and finally I don't have the skills which is why I thought I'd put the idea out there in case anyone else would like to take on the project. I've seen enough mods for improving or altering the sex scenes so I figure that it wouldn't been too terribly hard to go from there since most of it is the sex scene. I thought that instead of Alistair it could either be Sten (which would actually make sense since they talk about it a few time and seem to get along) but if people are stuck up on the fact that it has to be a grey warden then maybe making one wouldn't be too hard either, they wouldn't even need much voice acting (if any). I'm sure that at the Landsmeet there would be quite a few grey wardens who've traveled for the final battle so it would fit in with the story too. Hopefully someone will agree and be able to make it fit, I'm just giving examples on how to make it work story wise but I really don't have much to say about the actual coding and animations or whatever would need to be done to make this work. The other reason I posted was because reading about the ritual I've run into a lot of comments on how they hated making Alistair do it (either because they had no choice being female, was his love interest or just really liked the guy and thought it was wrong to make him sire a demon baby) and a few people who didn't want to do it themselves for similar reasons. I just hope that someone is able to do this because I know I would definitely appreciate it and am pretty sure many other people would as well! Thanks in advance!
