  1. New to Witcher 3 and just watched tutorials on how to install mods: My game is on a spare drive F Windows 10 is on C Witcher is installed in F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3 Witcher mods STAGING FOLDER IS IN: F:\Vortex Mods\witcher3 Game mods folder is installed in: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\Mods When I look at the GAMES tab it shows 0 managed games. When i type Witc.... up at the top search bar, Witcher 3 pops up with a note in the thumbnail saying I have 4 mods installed. (Which I do) My question is: This doesnt seem like a correct setup. and I dont know how to fix. This pic below also doesnt look right.
  2. I know that: player.setav speedmult [value] will allow the player to move faster, but is it possible to make an NPC move faster or make them sprint/run?
  3. I agree completely. Ive always just thought someone should make a mod that would use the "Pit Wolf" model to replace the dog followers. Its beyond my capabilities, but this should be pretty easy?... I keep looking on Nexus for a dog replacer mod, but nothin yet.
  4. Believe it or not, this seemed to actually fix the problem :) Thanks!
  5. Oblivion? It should be in your Oblivion\Data folder. Did you set an "Active File"? Because if you did, then you aren't making a new ESP, you are saving over the one you are working on. Sorry, i should have clarified. Im using the CK for Skyrim. In answer to your second part...I tried just selecting the skyrim.esm and making/saving a custom esp file and I also selected a mod (*.esp) file and making it active and then saving it....Both ways, the esp I either make or edit disapears when I click "save" where is it going? I used the GECK and CS for Vegas, F3 and Oblivion in the past and never had this problem.
  6. when i make an esp file using the CS, it saves, but it wont show up in my Data folder. What else is strange is it seems to save fine, but I even search my hard drive and i wont find my esp file saved anywhere....
  7. cool! ill check it out at least for the boots. thanks
  8. I really like the armor he wears. The wiki doesnt say its lootable. Is it possible to wear this or to use the CK to make this a set of armor that can be used by the player character? I specifically really like the helmet. Is this in game? Here is a pic.
  9. I have a level 29 toon that I want to backup because I want to start over w/ a new character. I just want to make sure I do it right. Basically all I did was go to: C:\Users\Nate\Documents\My Games\Skyrim and I copied the "Skyrim" folder to "Skyrim - backup" and kept it in the same location. Is this going to work? If I decide to come back a month from now and play my level 29 character, will it be a problem?
  10. Yea I added bActorSelfShadowing=0 to: \My Games\Skyrim\skyrimprefs.ini and it didnt remove self shadows :(
  11. I modified my shadows in game, so that they look much better. But I still get the lego block shadows on my character. I thought there was a setting somewhere to remove shadows drawn on yourself, but I cant seem to find it going through my My Games/Skyrim/Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini does anyone know a setting to improve self shadows or remove self shadows?
  12. Haha. K. Thanks for the heads up.
  13. So the mage Urag gro-Shub at the College asks you to find some writings by an arch-mage named Shalidor. The quest marker leads you into Stony Creek cave, but at the end of the cave the marker is up on top of a waterfall that seems inaccessible without using the "tcl" console command. Has anyone been able to jump up onto the waterfall ledge and finished this quest?
