I would like to know if anyone else has stumbled upon this problem and already has a solution for it. Alternatively I would like some advice or pointers on how to go around to solving it.

So I wanted to make an npc into a follower (I have mod that lets me do that with a console command), which is why I opened the console and then clicked on the npc to select him and his id automatically and then the game crashed. I can write normally into the console, but clicking on npcs while in console mode causes the game to ctd.
