Hi all the wonderful modders out there, I am posting this in hopes someone whom has far greater skills than i.. would look at improving the meshes for some (or all... ;]) of the vanilla armors; starting with gauntlets. I play in VR, and one of the things that jumps out at me is when there are textures that are not 4k since its right in my face, and also when there is no 3d geometry. in flatrim, upi can use various methods of manipulating meshes to get improved visual quality. but in VR if it isn't a 3d mesh its flat.... So! with that said i am hoping someone wouldn't mind improving the meshes of gloves/gauntlets to turn things that are textures only into 3d, i'm not looking for knicks and scraps being 3d. But next time you play look at your iron gauntlets... And know that those leather straps are 2d, and look awful in VR. Thanks for reading!

Comcast only blocks port 25, and filters out no IP's, my friend down the street, Who also has Comcast, can access the site just fine. I have no software or hardware on my network that filters sites, I am my own network admin. As i am the one who pays the bill :P So i cannot attached behind the proxy, So i'll have to throw the log into my post. I have not called my isp, I wanted to make sure it was an issue on their end. A tracert drops me after jump 19. It does happen on multiple devices, I am currently on my phone, which loads up fine on 4g, but not at all while on my Internet connection.

I'm having an issue accessing the site from my home internet connection, everywhere else is fine. But as of about 2 or 3 weeks ago i have been unable to access the site. i am currently accessing the forums from a proxy and as you can see i log in just fine so i know it wasn't wrongfully banned (can't be banned if you never post or comment) If i had to take a stab in the dark, i'm going to guess you banned someone who had my IP and than i DCHP'd it after i had lost internet for 2 days. If you need anything from me to resolve this issue PM me, I'll check back through the proxy every day or so.

I'm having an issue accessing the site from my home internet connection, everywhere else is fine. But as of about 2 or 3 weeks ago i have been unable to access the site, And when i e-mail [email protected] i get a mailer daemon bounce back stating: "Technical details of temporary failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain nexusmods.com by mx1.krystal.co.uk. [iP of site]. The error that the other server returned was: 451 unable to verify user" i am currently accessing the forums from a proxy and as you can see i log in just fine so i know it wasn't wrongfully banned (can't be banned if you never post or comment) If you need anything from me to resolve this issue PM me, I'll check back through the proxy every day or so. -
OBMM on X: not C: errors
hellbringer616 replied to hellbringer616's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Can't actually move the real users folder without reinstalling windows (or recreating my profile) so in short i'm basically screwed? As i said the reg links should be valid as i first installed obmm to X: with oblivion. So that is set up correctly. I'll monkey with the registry and see if i can get it working Can't find reg entries that would point it to different locations. is there a .ini file i could edit? -
OBMM on X: not C: errors
hellbringer616 replied to hellbringer616's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
The problem is (i believe) i am getting an error because i have Oblivion and OBMM installed on X:, and the save games and .ini files are on C:\ which OBMM can't find. And this gives me the .bsa error. Note however. i just copied the files (and path) to X: thinking it would work, and didn't... any other ideas? -
OBMM on X: not C: errors
hellbringer616 replied to hellbringer616's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
@benn64: No luck. It was installed to X: the first time i installed it, the second time it was no different. @motosxorpio: Thats just for temp files. I am trying to tell OBMM that only the saves folder is located in c: instead of x:, is there a way i can just change oblivions save directory? cause if i can move that to x: then i'll be fine. -
OBMM on X: not C: errors
hellbringer616 replied to hellbringer616's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Same error, Pointing it to X: where Oblivion is installed. Still getting the same error about being unable to load .bsa lists, and a missing oblivion.ini EDIT: it says when i try to use archive invalidation "failed to unregister BSA ..\obmm\BSARedirection.bsa because the [archive] section could not be found in Oblivion.ini" -
I just got a 60GB SSD, so rather then fill it up with games i am using my 500GB RAID0 array to use for program files. However, since Users is still on C: games still look there for their saves, no big deal, But OBMM doesn't see the oblivion.ini file. because it's on X: instead of C: with the Users folder.. Is there any way i can change it? cause i'd love to play Oblivion, But i don't want it on my SSD
