  1. BTW, mostly throwing this out to those looking for something to run with. I have plenty of ideas on this one, but would require some scripting. Which would make it come out post FO4. :P
  2. I"m trying to get back into modding... It has been quite a while. So scripting may take a bit to remember. However, TO THE IDEA! So, you get four choices to take the dam. Caesar, NCR, House, or Independent. My Idea can be done before, but honestly, I think it would be easier to accomplish after the dam is taken. For scripting, gurad changing, and not having players to start a new game. Super Mutants, since FO3 I have LOVED them. They are rare in New Vegas, but why not make a deal? They are formidable warriors/soldiers. Their numbers is their main lack of power. Let us say the player meets an old crack pot with an idea to use Super Mutants as a force. This guy could be the source of quests and guidance. The player will need a few things for this to work: 1) An acceptable plan that the Super Mutants will accept. Benefitial to both sides. 2) A way to increase their numbers. 3) Re-take the dam. For the first issue. I think simply the idea of giving the Super Mutants something to defend will be enough to urge them. I do not plan on the dam to be re-taken then forgotten about. NCR and Caesar both have more forces in other areas to wage more waves of attacks. House Bots perhaps, but would have to be rogue bots, as House is planned to be dead. For the Second Issue..... There is a Vault in the Mojave which has a possible source of a FNV virus. Gaining a source to create more Mutants from, lets say, captures of the Legion and/or NCR resistance. Once a Mutant, they cannot return to their old grounds. Plus these will be militant trained Mutants rather than regular civilians turned mutants. The Third Issue.... That is where my train of thought hits a wall. However, I think making this a post End Game quest would take a lot of head aches out. Unless the player choose indepent, you would have only one front to confront. IE NCR, Legion, or House bots. Mostly, to give the player yet another choice, or for those that didn't want to take it alone, give them some new back up. Also a way to bring Super Mutants into the Mojave. I do miss them.
  3. Not sure if you found a fix yet, but I FOUND ONE. Open the Show/Hide Menu (Under View), make sure terrain is checked, keep that menu open, go to your render window and hit F5. Give it a second and it should show up.
  4. Great thread for those doing custom models, but haven't gotten into doing furniture markers yet. I like Carl's idea, as I haven't really played with Skyrims marker settings in Nifskope yet. Very usefull.
