Yea, i was browsing a few benchmark reviews, quite a number of them are recommending rx 480 over gtx 1060. Moreover the types of games i play seem to have slightly better performance with the rx 480 in the benchmarks. I'm considering getting rx480 over nvidia now lol. Though i had bad experiences with AMD gfx cards, had to RMA a few.

Thx all for the replies. I probably get a gtx 1060 in the next couple of months, best bang for buck imo. Gtx 1070 is kinda high end and i might as well get a new rig if imma go with a gtx 1070. Besides i'm not all hard for Ultra settings gaming, i'm fine with High quality and 1080p gaming. Just wanna drag this PC's lifespan for 3-4 more years. I'm using a Seasonic X 860w PSU so should be overkill. @TheMastersSon I'll try OC'ing once i get my new gfx card. Hopefully i can get at least 3.8/9 lol.

Currently on a 4 yr old rig and been contemplating if i should just upgrade certain components or get a new PC. Issue is i probably can't afford a new PC because i'm saving up to buy a motorbike which takes priority since i need it to commune to work. A friend suggested i just upgrade to a new gfx card like GTX 1070 which literally costs as much if not more than my current GTX 680 when i bought it(looks like 1070 is the new x80 lol), i was thinking a 1050 Ti or 1060 but he mentioned the performance improvement is minimal, theres also the issue of the new gfx card being bottlenecked by my current parts. While another friend recommended saving up for another 1 or 2 years bonus and buy a new PC altogether. Any suggestions? So i've been playing somewhat heavily modded Oldrim and SSE, the mods are awesome but they also bring with them a whole slew of problems, bugs, glitches, performance issues/spikes, fps issues, compatibility issues, updating hassles, outdated & abandoned mods etc etc. Sometimes they can just be minor annoyances while other times they can end up breaking the game, i find myself spending as much time modding as i am playing Skyrim. I'd like the your opinion on modding lite for SSE. Whats your mod list for a lite modded SSE?

MU Online for me. It got me going all out into gaming and PC gaming, never touched console anymore. MMORPGs usually have the strongest addiction factor since they're all about crazy progression & competition.

If you're looking for recent releases and cRPG genre then Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, Wasteland 2. Could also go Enhanced Edition for Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, basically remastered classic cRPG games. Dragon Age Origins too. Theres also Torment Tides of Numera but its release date is next year. For turn based cRPG i'd recommend Divinity Original Sin(the sequel coming out next year). If you're into open world 3rd person RPG then Fallout 4/3 & New Vegas(has more classic rpg elements), Skyrim Special Edition, Kingdoms of Amalur & Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition. RPGs with more linear gameplay i'd go with Deus Ex Human Revolution & Mankind Divided, Mass Effect series, Witcher 1 & 2.

I find E-cig/Vaps useless lol. Tried it for a couple of months, i had to go back to a real cigarette. Its literally smoking air. If you wanna use Vaps as a way to quit smoking, its not that effective. If you wanna be a Vap convert like my friend, its pretty much possible but its still a sizeable expense every month although reportedly it is much healthier than smoking a cig. In any case, vapes are banned in my country so its troublesome to get vaps and refills.
