  1. Hello! I have the mod Summermyst Enchantments of Skyrim (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6285) installed and I'm having some issues with the enchantment added by the mod "Death Shroud". The enchantment itself is quite nice, but it has the annoying feature to turn its slain targets into ash piles. This is bothering me a lot because... 1-) My character is a skilled necromancer. I can't really raise the dead from piles of ashes, rendering the enchantment nearly useless to me. Buuut that's not what is really annoying...the real issue is, some of those ash piles caused by the enchantment simply won't disappear. They persist even after using the "markfordelete" command and after a cell reset. I have already a few littering my current save. 2-) This enchantment has the ability to kill kids. If your character is high level and for some reason a child becomes hostile against you, if they run past you they also become ash piles. You don't actually need to attack them. No, I don't have any mod making children killable. But this enchantment manages to do it by turning them into ash piles. The likelihood of accidents happening if you have any gear with Death Shroud and there are kids nearby is really high... Could anybody please make a patch to prevent targets, after being killed by the enchantment, from becoming ash piles? The mod page is no longer taking comments so I can't ask the author for a patch...(and I don't think he/she would do it..) Thank you!
  2. Hello again! Sorry for bumping the thread but I fixed the problem. I figured I should come back here and post the solution, as some threads here by others also helped me much at times. What was causing the issue: the load order. I'm using some cosmetic mods (namely Bijins and Pandorable). My Vortex set those mods to load very late, after UFO and CRF. It just so happens that some modifications (including level cap) made by UFO/CRF are overriden by those cosmetic mods. I was aware of the load order, but would never have guessed that cosmetic mods change anything else than NPCs looks. I just found out by using SEEdit (yeah, I learned a bit how to use it in the meantime) How to fix it: Easy way: load your Bijins and Pandorables before UFO/CRF. Hard way: use the SSEEdit to add the PotentialMarriageFaction [FACT:00019809] cell to those cosmetic mods. (I did this one because it's such a pain to assign load order manually with Vortex). Thanks everyone who took time to read this thread. Mod on!
  3. Hello fellow Skyrim lovers  I was wondering if someone could help me with this issue. I'm in a middle of a playthrough (Expert - CC Survival) and I was trying to get my character married but it keeps "failing". Well, so far I have tried: 1-) To marry Illia. I finished her quest at Darklight Tower, got her as follower, but the line "Interested in me, are you?" doesn't show up when I'm wearing the amulet of Mara. I have the UFO mod on my game and it should have made her eligible for marriage. 2-) To marry Nirya. I have the Cutting Room Floor mod and it should have made her eligible for marriage on completing her quest. I did it, stole Faralda's notes and gave them to her. She is now friendly to me, but just as Illia, no dialogue for marriage shows up at all. 3-) To marry Beleval. This one also should have been made available by the UFO mod but the same thing happens. No dialogue for marriage. So I proceed to troubleshoot. This is what I already tried: 1-) Checked if marriage is working with other NPCS. I tried the amulet of Mara on Lydia and Brelyna Maryon. The line "Interested in me, are you?" shows up normally. It is working. 2-) Disabled the Relationship Dialogue Overhaul (RDO) mod. I suspected it might be interfering with the lines, but no, even with this mod disabled I can't marry any of the NPCs mentioned above. 3-) Disabled the UFO mod. Same problem. 4-) Made sure that RDO is loading way earlier than UFO and that it's properly patched. It is and the problem continues So we come to my question...how can I find out if a NPC is marriageable at some point in the game? I tried using SSEEdit but to be honest, I dont know what exactly to load and how to read the information  Finally, yes, I'm aware of the console command addfac for marriage, but I don't want to use it to do things that some mods claimed to do. There must be something blocking the marriage dialogue for those NPCs and I want to find out what. I appreciate any insight, really. Thank you!
