  1. Website lags intensely for every page. These times are from mouse-click to when the scroll bar moves smoothly. Main page from Google - 52s Mod from Main page - 80s ;The browser locked up while waiting for 'staticdelivery.nexusmods.com'. Mod to forum - 32s Forum to Main page using the Back arrow - 22s Main page to 'Browse Files' section - 62s Browse to a mod using Right-Click, Open in new tab' - 23s Reloading the Browse/Search results page - 71s
  2. I was skeptical about my setup as well, until someone showed me YouTuber's who benchmark games on just about every setup. I run FO4 on High settings, 1360 x 768. My computer was purchased from BestBuy in 2010, for $600. I know it's mucho cheaper to build your own, but I opted for a no-frills just-buy-the-darn-thing option. Since then I have only added 4g of Ram and last year a GTX 750. FO4 aside, you really ought to think about investing in new hardware just because games are getting bigger. Otherwise you could opt for one of the consoles.
  3. That was up to the creators; I thought it was a great idea. You pay for the content you wanted to pay for, and you got see the true motives of some of the modders. They learned to code somewhere and so can the rest of us. As for creating rumors & crying about losing everything.. The game releases without official mod support, but some are put out anyways. A lot of them are really just shortcuts for existing console commands. An update to the game is released, as they tend to, and people go bat-s*** crazy! Now imagine if all of the complaints, whining and rumors repeated themselves everytime someone's save is messed up (that incorporates modified game values), the forums wouldn't be a happy-looking place. Bottom Line, Mods are not Officially supported yet. Anything a user adds to the game is their risk, not the developers. If something goes horribly wrong with only vanilla content, then yes, ask for help. But don't hack up your game, then wonder why it's broken.
  4. There's a Reddit link as was posted in 'Mod Talk' forum: https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/3vtgki/beta_patch_13x_why_your_plugin_mods_dont_work_and/
  5. I read this while the update was downloading. I've paused it half-way downloaded, and set the game to only update when I play. Can they still work if I set Steam to Offline mode for now? *Edit: Here's a link that may fix the issue, posted in 'Mod Talk': https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/3vtgki/beta_patch_13x_why_your_plugin_mods_dont_work_and/
  6. My hard copy came with a large color poster of all the perks, and a controls reference sheet. Plus it smells nice mmm.. printed smell <3. Halo 4's multiplayer was a DLC, as with those monthly(?) chapters. Trials Fusion didn't ship with online multiplayer Bioshock Infinite's DLC was.. downloaded.. so get used to it! Don't forget all of the games that were shipped on discs but are now free with each console's premium accounts, and PS4's backwards compatability might not support the original discs so prepare to download your favorite games again! At least F4 wasn't shipped like the Command & Conquer everything pack, which is just a Steam key in the DVD box!
