Yes, SkyEdit will do the job for you. I've created a mod using SkyEdit for smithing an Oblivion Leather shield, Oblivion Longsword and also added smithing arrows. Here I am with the Leather Shield imported from Oblivion: http://www.x3dmod.com/ftp/images/skyrim14.jpg Very nice sword you've made!
