  1. Might be a stupid question but yeah, what the title says. When I equip my power armor it doesn't remove the arm piece that usually gets removed when equiping power armor, and ends up clipping through almost the entire pipboy. I'm assuming it's a problem with either NifSkope or GECK and that I'm missing some sort of option I need to enable or whatever but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I'm using the main models for the T-51b power armor with no changes besides a new texture and normal map, and in GECK I'm copying up the T-51b items directly only changing the models. Anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?
  2. Don't bother replying* it seems to have fixed itself somehow, the textures in the geck and in the game now load properly for some reason.
  3. Basically, I made a more rusted out texture for the securitrons, but when I check in the GECK it looks like a bunch of jumbled up textures (image below). This is odd because I've done this plenty of times for other creatures, and nothing like this has ever happened. Is this something about the securitron's textures/models or did I just mess up somewhere?
  4. I'm trying to retexture this gun for fallout new vegas, but for some reason it looks different in NifSkope then in the GECK. It should look blue, but some reason its using the small energy cell texture instead. Does anyone know a fix to this? Thanks in advance!
  5. hi i make simple mods.
  6. I'm having trouble with texturing models, specifically power armor models. The power armor keeps looking too glossy, no matter what I do. Strangely enough this doesn't happen with the helmet models, only the body armor. I used GIMP and FireAlpaca to retexture the _n.dds file, and replaced the _n.dds files from the original .NiF file with the retextured one in NifSkope. Everything should be working, but when I add the model to GECK, it still shows the models as glossy and shiny, while I want it to be barely glossy. I've tried looking for anything that could help on other forums, but nothing seems to have worked so far. If anyone could give me advice it would be great. PS: (I'm using GIMP 2.10.0, FireAlpaca 2.1.20, NifSkope 2.0 Dev 8, and GECK 1.4.0.518.
