  2. Yes I used to use Frostfall but with SSE now I'm sort of waiting some for the mods to transition. I went ahead and made a recipe for the torch but now I was wondering how can I make a choice of ingredients, for instance if I want to be able to make a torch out of 1 chopped wood and 1 linen wrap OR 3 rolls of paper or something, well I might just look at some other recipes for an example...
  3. How about a mod that gives craft-able torches with a recipe of like 1 chopped wood and 3 linen or something because I sure don't find enough and don't see them at merchants.

  6. Heyy I really want to have no FOV change when sprinting. There was this mod for old Skyrim http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47086/ RBEs Enhanced 1st Person Camera Bob that had option for no FOV change. I tried it but it's buggy for SSE. The files involved there are in data\meshes\actors\character\_1stperson\animations\ .hkx files. Could there be another way to do this?

  8. Hey I don't think the empty hand model looks very good (you see it when you're jumping around) It just looks unnatural like it's in a pose holding a weapon that isn't there sorta. Well how about a simple mod to just hide the empty hand model when it's not holding anything. Or an improved empty hand model that looks better to replace it. What you think of this idea?
  9. Ok what you said should work I'm just trying to find out the best way to make the esp because when I make my bashed patch some of the stats revert to their old values unless I mark the esp with the "Stats" bashed tag. I'll try what you said though and see how it goes, thanks.

  11. Thanks for replying. I'm looking at the plugin in TES5Edit and it seems to show that keywords put in by WAF do not carry though with my arrow tweak esp. Same thing with the unofficial patch. Can you look at these screen shots and confirm this? If that is the case, to get these keywords to carry though should I have all these plugins loaded with the Creation Kit when I make the changes?   12. I'm making a mod for myself that tweaks arrow stats like damage, value, gravity and speed. I use mods that make changes to arrows like Weapons & Armor fixes as well as Immersive Weapons. When I go to edit the values in Creation Kit should I load WAF? Also do I have to specify a file as active? So far I've made the esp without specifying an active file and tweaked the stats. However when I build my bashed patch unless I add "Stats" bashed tag to the esp for it keeps the values for some items from WAF. And even with the stats bashed tag there are stats that don't get carried from WAF. Any suggestions on the correct way to build this esp, which esps I should be loading when I make the changes?
  13. Anyone have any idea how I can get less animals to appear in the Skyrim world? I want less of everything like deer, elk, wolves, bears, lions, tigers, goats, and probably other stuff. If this isn't too difficult I'm thinking of having a mod that has 3 versions, 75% less animals, 50% less animals and 25% less animals. Should I be able to accomplish this with the Creation Kit? Any pointers or tips you can give?
  14. Even though this post is from 2011 I just now realized I want less animals too. I'm trying to balance the game so food isn't so easy to come by and animals is one thing there is a whole lot of, so it would make a better challenge for hunting and finding food to have less animals. Ya know I think a good name for this mod would be "Less Animals" and there could be 3 versions: 25% less animals, 50% less animals and 75% less animals. Anyone have any idea of what this would take?
  15. So I have this amazing mod idea. Basically I noticed that each save game has a screen shot, I thought it would be supremely awesome if the Start Screen takes the screen shot from your last save game and sets it as the background picture. So I start up the game I have a nice view of my last position and I just hop right in. But I'm not sure if the save game provides a high res screen shot, but was thinking if it doesn't possibly the mod could take a screen shot after saving and through programming trickery simply load that screen shot as the background when the game starts up next time. I wish I was a programmer genius but maybe YOU are the programming genius that could make this mod for me thank you.
  16. I'm interested in jumping enemies as well. If not jumping then "climbing" I guess just something that will let them get to me when they're chasing me down and I decide to climb up some rocks. Well I'm trying a mod now that limits the player jumping height so I'll see what that does...
  17. Ok I had searched and got that answer but I didn't have that file. But I think it was my mistake (or reinstalling helped) I noticed changing some of the night adjustments weren't applying because I wasn't changing interior night, even though I was outside in a town at the time, so uh I don't know what's going on with that
  18. Hey I'm using ENB version 262 and now for some reason nothing I change in the Environment section has any effect. Am I missing another option somewhere? I used to be able to change everything like lighting and curves and other stuff but doesn't seem to work now...
  19. No no I'm not an honored guest at any Jarl's house, I'm a bum that wandered in from the streets and why wouldn't a thief steal from a guard house if he could get away with it. The problem is the NPCs are completely deaf and if they could hear you stealing then they could catch you better. I shouldn't be able to steal items in the immediate vicinity of an NPC unless I have a very high sneak skill. Basically if the NPCs could hear you stealing it would go a long way towards making their AI seem a lot better.
  20. The problem: I start out all my games poor, in rags, with nothing in a random place. So sometimes I have to steal, a lot. Thing is it's just too easy, I can wander into royal palaces, guard houses, rooms with multiple npcs, and as long as none of them have a line of sight to me I can take whatever I want, open chests, tables, wardrobes, anything. The solution: If the npcs took sound into account when stealing it could make it a lot more challenging. So when you pick up an item it makes a sound, the higher your sneak skill the smaller the sound radius and the lighter the item the smaller the radius, if an NPC is inside the sound radius when you pick up the item you are caught for stealing. If you open a chest it makes a sound that brings an NPC (guard or owner) to investigate, tables and wardrobes could have smaller sound radius. Finally when you steal something there is a cool-down period of 1 game hour, during that time if you get in the personal space of a guard or owner you get caught for stealing. This way after you take something then you gotta find a way out avoiding the owner or guard who will be able to "sense" that you have a stolen item. Well that's it pretty simple right, I guess an even simpler version could just have a fixed sound radius of 3 to 4 meters, this would prevent easy stealing when NPCs are right next to you.

Hmm I don't know it's actually more blue than the rain, can't really tell cause the rain graphics are on top of it, and when I noticed it at Solitude it wasn't raining, oh Skyrim why you gotta be like this. The only weather mods I'm using are More Rain, More Snow, Minty's Lightning and Supreme Volumetric Fog The only thing I can think of that might be causing it is Distant Detail, I might try to run for a while without it and see if I notice it again.
  22. I'll go ahead and bump this thread because I notice the same thing with steel war axe. I don't notice it with dagger, dwarven mace, iron sword and others, just steel war axe and probably dwarven war axe like op said (but I don't have one to try it) Does everyone notice this, maybe there is a problem with the mesh. Edit: Arhghghghg this is so annoying I've tried changing every setting. It doesn't happen indoors. It's some Z-fighting
  23. Hey sometimes this graphic glitch comes up like a vertical blue line that seems like it's far off in the distance to the south west of Whiterun. One time I was at Solitude and saw it but it was much thinner. So it seems like it's a 3d object that gets bigger as you approach it, but it's very far away and appears on top of everything.
