  1. Program Files (x86) is the default file location where win 7 stores 64 bit programs. I had nothing to do with the name. "The problem is, is that Vortex has G:\ stored in appdata\roaming\ and is still looking for G:\" This is a good suggestion but I was unable to find a reference to G:\ that seemed to be directing vortex to look there after checking several locations. Perhaps if someone can narrow down "where" to look... there are a lot of files with hex ID's I did not check. Thanks for your help.
  2. I wanted to add this. This I know. I need to know where it also looks.
  3. After an ssd crash (first one I've ever had in many years) my system was running terribly and I found a clean install of my win 7 (don't give me grief on that, it does all I want and I don't want my computer acting/looking like a phone) was the only way to fix it. It renamed my other HD's during the install. I moved vortex and most of my games to my new C: drive and everything works fine. But whenever vortex starts it gives an error that it can't find "G:" drive. There is no G: it was renamed to D: or E:, where a few games still reside that I rarely play. TLDR; Where can I change "where" vortex "looks" for games? I can't seem to find it or an answer for that OL. I appreciate any help. Thanks, Scott
