Hi, Don't know if this is the right place, don't really care. My laptop screen has just f***ed itself and after just having shelved out £850 on a new phone and tv after those broke I'm now facing possibly buying another laptop as well, depending on how much and how long it would take to replace and LCD screen. If I did get a new laptop, what specs (processor, ram) would I need really as a minimum to play Skyrim smoothly? And if possible, the likely price range. I currently have an AMD A6-3420 APU 1.50GHz processor and 6GB of RAM, and Skyrim is unplayable really without being very jerky and slow. Any help would be much appreciated.

I recently got this game for my laptop from the steam sale, having played it since release on console. Set it up, downloaded a load of mods (being a bit ambitious) and (after sorting a few issues) finally got it working. Only, rather predictably, the game ran very slow and would freeze any time I reached a new landmark or got attacked by multiple enemies. My specs are: 6GB Ram, AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 1.50GHz and 64-bit operating system. Not great, especially for a game like this. So, firstly, will I ever be able to enjoy this game without noticeable performance issues on these specs if I manage the mods I use better? If that is possible, then which mods do I really need to be avoiding - which mods will be too much for my processor to handle? I've already downloaded the main performance enhancing mods mentioned here (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1015916-ultimate-skyrim-nexus-mod-management-guide/).
