  1. Btw i meant to ask in the last post i made, what is the major difference between Awakenings in OC and Awakenings Abilities mods besides the music corruption and harder install instructions ? And another thing is im kinda hoping that someone will make or alter any of those two mods so the actual enemies can take advantage of extra spells and talents not to mention higher levels .
  2. I have used Awakenings in OC for ages and never had any problems as long as you simply don't copy the music folder everything works perfect (including the music err ironically )

Its usually caused by a conflict of mods nothing else, i have had the same problems till i cleaned the override folder and tried to make sure that 2 or more mods don't override the same files........speaking of that the no Helmet mod seems to work with all my mods perfectly so i used that instead of no Helmet hack which totally removes the helmets making a battle with swords swinging and blood splattering rather umm unrealistic ?

There are two mods you need for that , one being "Awakenings in the OC" (lets you get all the talents and abilities from Awakenings in Origins) and the other one is "skill and talent requirements lowered" i think its called or something similar to that just check out Nexus mods its there . Sorry for being lazy but those two do exist for i have both of them installed. Example Rain of Arrows level 16 required instead of 20 ect ect.

That little trick worked for me when my Awakenings vanished , read it on one of the boards (can't recall where now) it also makes all the mods compatible with Awakening as well as spells and armor and all dlc such as Blood Dragon Armor ect. Just make sure you make a back up of the file before changing it :) Another option of course is to reinstall the bloody thing, only takes 3 mins :P

  8. What mod ? is there another one beside Nightmare plus that increases difficulty of the game and makes the enemies tougher ???

  11. I did go there a while ago and sent him about 3 emails asking for it :( *censored* never replied (i'v been snubbed !) Oh well It kinda surprises me that NOT ONE single person on Nexus seems to have this mod (well at least nobody that actually read my post :P ) Anyway thanks a lot for looking out for us ONCE again mate very much appreciated

Heh thanks a a lot bud iv just been to the site you told me about and it seems that me leaving any requests is rather silly coz nearly everyone there is asking for it to be compatible with Awakenings but anyway thanks heaps mate . Btw DarkeWolf any idea who might have the old Ancient blood magic mod ??? and how i can get my hands on it ?

  14. Err there is a "similar" mod on Nexus where you can change the appearance of your character to LOOK like darkspawn i believe and i know its not the same but for now its the second best thing till such a mod comes out.

How come nobody thought of making those two fundamental spells for mages, i mean invisibility should be a basic spell for any mage and time stop might be a bit of an overkill and pretty hard to mod but still great to watch and muck around with, so for all you talented moders here is an idea to make urself famous and show who has got the most talent knowhow and determination. Edit: Hmm no response, thats ok but i was thinking further along the lines of making this mod it shouldnt be too hard to do. 1. Incorporate mass paralysis without any resistance that will effect both enemies and allies alike maybe with a bit of added FX's and call it timestop . 2. Make the enemies ignore you for a certain time and again add some kinda fx's to it as well and call it Invisibility, one such spell has already been done in the Haze spells series"Power of the Unseen" making you look at least invisible. Seriously if i could do it i would, maybe someone can point me in the right direction instead huh ? Cheers guys :)
  16. Heh i seemed to have the same problem but this little nifty trick fixed it . It has something to do with mods installed im not sure but it did work for me . Basically edit the addins.xml (in the settings folder) with notepad. go to the Edit tab -> Replace, in "Find What" type: Single Player and in "Replace" type: DAO_PRC_EP_1 and "Replace All", save file. and if that does not work try to reverse it again (same thing just the other way around) That helped me, good luck mate :)

Hey people can someone make some Blood Magic spells and mods coz we seem to have poo loads of normal spells but nothing like the old Ancient blood magic mod where you can suck out the blood out of multiple foes and stuff , something specifically activated with blood magic use and such. That would be great thanks .

  19. Hmm i'v had similar problems to your own ,played for about 10 mins and boom crashed . This is what solved all my probs and no more crashes since. First of all antialiasing should not be set to more than 2 ,for some reason i experimented with more than that and i had weird pauses and slowdowns when turning around (could be sli though). In Fallout.ini i turned off Specularpass = 0 (got rid off that horrible shiny effect which blinds you during the day travels. Water should be turned down to medium and water displacement and refractions should be turned off ,it slows down your machine even when your nowhere near water ! Also very very important ,make sure your mods (if running any) are compatible i'v had terrible problems with them till i after painstaking mind you experimentation managed to work out what works with what . If you want to go extreme turn off HDR that really solves 99% of all Fallut 3 crashes especially on slower machines. My rig is quite powerful with a Q9650 EXTREME ,4 gigs of ram and gtx275 in sli yet i'v only managed to run Fallout 3 with constant good framerates after doing those adjustments. Oh one more thing ,make sure your vsync is always on with D3d overider on as well to reduce the mouse lag ,gets rid off that micro stutter .....i can only think of one more thing ...Limit your fps in fallout.ini to say 45 or less to make the game smoother .
