  1. This is what I was actually asking about, my question was how to change the color of this hidden light source. I have been checking Nifskope's page every day for update just for this reason, because I have a new mod pretty much ready to publish except for this light issue which completely ruins it...
  2. Well I'm not talking about the glow maps, I want to edit the Light Source from the weapons, But for glow maps I did find this page http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/How_to_add_glow_maps. To change the color of glowing stuff in game though, look for Emissive Color, and Emissive Multiplier in the Block Details on the BSLightingSaderProperty. I'm not sure if you can make stuff glow by doing that without testing it, but maybe you could; I'm not interested in testing that right now tho tbh, maybe tomorrow I will. Night
  3. Yeah I already know how to change emissive colors and their intensity that's pretty simple stuff, but those FX Values do not emit light, they just glow. There is actually a light source above the gun that emits light onto the gun and onto other surfaces that gun is near; the question I'm asking is, how do you change the color of that light?
  4. Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to change the Luminance/Glow/lighting, whatever you want to call it on weapons to different colors. An example of what I'm talking about would be the light given off of the Alien Blaster or the Laser Musket. Can someone please point me in the right direction of how to accomplish this, I'm having a very hard time finding ANYTHING about this online. The only thing that I've figured out from experimenting is that the glowing textures on the weapons are not the light source. http://i.imgur.com/7PwlmAQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bLrTiDT.jpg
  5. Make sure you re-enable your .esp files then start the game with f4se_loader.exe
  6. It does not show the (Beta) next to the version number, I personally opt out of all betas and this installed while I was out for breakfast.
  7. Install F4SE for the the 1.2.37 beta patch, and use F4SE_Loader.exe to launch game for now. http://f4se.silverlock.org/
  8. Both. Changing the color in the DDS to anything besides green auto changes to green in game. Dot is not on the DDS to begin with it's just "there" If you look at the meshes for the reflex sights in Nifskope, there are 2 reticles that extend out past the reflex sight which are what you are actually seeing, there isn't actual reticles on the piece of glass. What I'm thinking you did was change the DDS for only one of them, perhaps the rear one that is always there, the front fades away when you are moving to give you that effect of, blurring maybe idk what they were going for. So instead of deleting it, find that dds file and replace it as well to keep the same feel. As far as changing the color goes I'm not entirely sure what the deal is, might be similar to changing the color of power armor hud, you could look into that. *Edit. Btw if you ever get into changing laser rifle reflex those have like 6 meshes for just the one reticle.
  9. I don't understand what you are asking, how to remove the dot or change the color of the reticle, or both?
  10. I've downloaded so many mods and spent days with unending headaches learning how to make my simple mods, if anyone actually wants to know how I did any of it, I'd be willing to share over on skype because making a video is impossible with a 4 year old bothering me every 5 minutes.
  11. Noobed it up and had the DSR patch higher in load order than DSR, got everything working finally. Images coming soon!
  12. Okay so I manually installed XP32 to the Custom Breton folder, but now it doesn't detect the Skyproc patcher info from DSR.
  13. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get Custom Races, PC Exclusive Animation path, and Dual Sheath Redux working together. I'm using Female Animations and PCEA path or I would use a default race. I'm pretty new at this stuff so any help would be great. The end goal is to be able to use my CustomBreton from Custom Races with DSR, so I can have sweet animations for only my character and have hip daggers. DSR's page says "Custom Races Supported (must be using compatible skeleton). So I know I must be doing something wrong. I'm using XP32 for my Male nord and DSR for his shield and sword already, " I switch out animations before playing" I should really learn to use mod organizer but anyway. Maybe Custom races doesn't support XP32 or the other way around? I'm way in over my head... thank you in advance! tldr; I cannot get the meshes for hip daggers from DSR to work on my CustomBreton from Custom races. The animations are there however, but I still have my dagger the front. If I change back to a normal breton the daggers are displayed correctly on my back hip, however since I'm using PCEA Normal races don't have my custom animations.
